I’m currently a full-time student pursuing a career in psychiatric nursing - I have about a year left in my program so over the summer when I am not taking classes, my schedule is much more flexible; from September till the end of May I am available mainly on weekends and evenings but it really depends on my schedule! I will always try my best to accommodate and help out as much as I can :)

I am always open to learning how to care for new animals or those with special needs or considerations for their care. I just ask that you be patient with me and communicate ahead of time as much as possible!
A typical day
For drop-in visits, I will always spend at least 30 minutes checking in on your pets, making sure they have everything they need, cleaning up, and giving them some attention and play time if they would like! For house sitting, I will often bring my schoolwork and other essentials from home to spend as much time with the pets as I can. I love to go for walks in different parts of the city when the weather is nice!

I’ve always been around pets (despite being allergic, cats especially have always been drawn to me) so I have plenty of experience interacting with and looking after animals of varying temperaments, ages, activity levels, personalities, and needs. I grew up with a bichon shih-tzu named Dewey and I currently have a very sweet black cat named Styx that I adopted in January 2023!

Kelsey took good care of our babies while we were away. Aside from one day which they were left alone a little longer than we would have liked (over 12 hours) and she didn’t contact our alternate, who we had to call to come and let them out. We completely understand that things come up which is why we gave her our neighbors info. But otherwise our animals seemed to be well cared for and walked a couple times.
Kelsey is fantastic with our cats! Reliable and spends extra time to give them attention and playtime! Would 10/10 recommend.
Kelsey was a great sitter for Jackson; she was punctual, reliable and great with my cat
Kelsey was absolutely amazing with my cat Magnus. He has behavioral issues with his litter box when stressed out. I was gone 6 days and upon returning found Magnus to be calm and happy. There were no issues whatsoever. When checking in with Kelsey she would send me pictures of a relaxed happy cat. I didn't need to worry about him at all. Kelsey did an amazing job looking after my fur baby and I would highly highly recommended her to watch over your pets. Thank you again Kelsey, I will be calling you again in the future!
