Pet care experience
Experienced Pet Care Provider
Hi there! I was lucky enough to be raised around animals, we always had a small zoo. I have experience with everything from fish to horses, and even wildlife due to having the privilege of volunteering at a wildlife rescue! My animals are my family and I treat yours the same way. Due to having a dog myself, I am not able to board dogs with known dog reactivity due to having to keep them seperated and limiting their roaming space. I have been walking dogs for 14 years, providing in home pet care for 12 years, and offering boarding as well as doggy daycare for 4 years. I have no problem with last minute bookings given I have the availability. I do not have a time limit for boarding, I have had dogs for as little as a night and as long as 5 months. I can administer medication orally and via injection as well as administer subcutaneous fluids and syringe feed mammals and reptiles. I do have experience with special needs dogs including deafness, blindness, high anxiety, animal reactivity, and mobility issues. *As of now snakes over 5' will be considered on a case by case basis if they will need to be fed, soaked, require a cage cleaning, or need medication administered due to increased risks with solo handling,* *I will not be taking new dog walking clients until April 2021.*

A typical day
For Dog Walking: I primarily will stay around the neighborhood. If there are hiking trails nearby, I have no problem taking a dog on an adventure per owner approval. I am sure to check a dog over for ticks afterwards. For Boarding: I live in a quiet neighborhood and am able to stay away from high traffic roads for dogs that are not comfortable walking on or near busy roads.
