Currently, I am available during evenings and weekends for pet care, including boarding or sitting for animals that are used to being alone during regular working hours. During summer and spring break I will also have increased availability as I am a teacher.

It is important for me to know if a pet has any pets have medical or behavioral needs ahead of time so I can plan ahead on making sure they are properly accommodated. For pets boarding with me, it is important to know their relationship with cats, as well, since I have 2 at home.

I love to engage dogs by playing with them, taking them for walks, and if okay with the owner, taking them to my horse farm to play!

Aside from being a dog, horse, and cat mom for over 20 years, I also have 5 years of experience working in a veterinary clinic, 2 years of experience as a dog trainer, and a year of experience working in a dog shelter. I have a wide range of expertise in many areas of animal needs, including animal health and behavior.

Kelsey did a wonderful job taking care of our cats and ferrets while we were gone. It is nice having a great sitter where we don't have to worry while we are gone.
Kelsey is amazing with pets of all types: dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and even horses. We frequently refer to her as the "pet whisperer". She has a degree in animal science, as well as backgrounds as a vet tech, dog trainer, and dog foster mom. She is kind and loving, and even has a huge, fenced back yard. Your pet will be in great hands!
Kelsey is simply outstanding. She cared for ALL of my animals from horses to dogs to cats for me. She even came in a snow storm! Far more than I expected.
KM is amazing! She has taken care of my mix breed several times and I get pictures and updates. She really loves our boy and takes great care of him. I know he’s loved the entire time we’re gone. Even when gone over the holidays, she includes him in her festivities. He always happy to see her.
