Information Kelsey M. would like to know about your pet

For dogs, it is important to know your pet’s breed, quirks, and favorite games/toys. For your cat or dog, it is good to know if your pet has any medical conditions or table rules. Your rules are more or less my rules :)

A typical day

I enjoy going for short or long walks in the neighbourhood in the morning, lunchtime and evening, involving fetch or just going for a stroll. My job is based from home most of the time, occasionally I may have to run out and can either bring them with me or keep them at home.

Pet care experience

Hi, I’m Kelsey! I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. I was lucky to share 14 wonderful years with my own dog, who crossed the Rainbow Bridge three years ago. While I miss having a dog of my own, caring for other people’s pets has become a meaningful way to keep animals in my life. I work from home, which allows me to provide plenty of attention, companionship, and flexibility throughout the day. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, or simply having someone nearby, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I live near some of Calgary’s best green spaces, including Sue Higgins Park, Carburn Park, and Beaverdam Flats—perfect locations for walks, sniffing adventures, and exploring the outdoors. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time in the mountains, camping, and travelling. On the occasional weekend, you’ll find me happily staying home and enjoying a quieter pace. Because I don’t currently have pets of my own, your furry family member will receive my full attention while they’re in my care. I also have experience caring for cats and absolutely adore them. Whether your companion barks, purrs, chirps, or meows, I’ll treat them as if they were my own. I look forward to meeting you and your pet!

Kelsey is a genuine animal lover. She has always been affectionate, caring and loving towards many creatures. Dogs in particular.. when she was young she always wanted to have a dog. One day she brought home a lost stray and cared for this dog as though it was her own. We were so touched to she how she communicated and cared for this dog. Although it broke our hearts we took “Shelly” in where they could find her rightful owner. Years later Kelsey moved into this shared home with roommates. There she met Doug dog. The owner wasn’t around much so Kelsey took on the responsibility of walking and feeding Doug. You can only image how these two connected. Eventually her roommate moved out of the country and Kelsey and he agreed that Doug would be best care for by Kelsey. It was the happiest day. Doug enjoyed many years traveling and going on mountain hikes. He was always there right by her side. They enjoyed many years of adventures until sadly Doug’s 92 years ended this past summer. He is sadly missed. Kelsey is a natural animal lover who has a special way with pets, giving her unconditional love and attention.
