I am your pet's new best friend!
Hey there! My name is Kelsey and I am so glad you found me. I am jumping back into the world of pet sitting after having a baby. I previously worked full-time as a pet sitter in Philadelphia for 5 years. Since moving to the area in 2019, I have been working at an animal shelter in Tacoma with pet sitting on the side. I'm so glad I have time to get back into it. I have yet to find a greater joy in life, than spending time with and caring for animals. I discovered my passion at just 6 years old, when I would knock on my neighbors' doors and ask to walk their dogs. I am so fortunate to have been in this role for over 10 years both professionally and as a past time. I have adopted the nickname 'Aunt Kelsey' as I treat my clients' pets like they are my immediate family- spoiling them with love like I would a neice or nephew. I aim to make your pets feel safe and comfortable, as if to almost forget you aren't there! :) My own pets will definitely help make yours comfortable. I have three pups, each one has something different to offer if you are looking to help socialize your pet! Mocha is our spayed female Husky mix who came to us in December of 2019. A friend needed help taking care of her financially. We fell in love with her and she became ours in March 2020. She is as dog social as they come! She has a very calm demeanor, and is naturally accepting, submissive and independent. She has taught us so much about dog behavior. Axle came to us a week later than Mocha, as his owners were struggling with their own medical issues and a 9-month-old Rottweiler was not helping. He also was struggling with medical issues of his own, as we found out a year later, he has Immune Mediated Poly Arthritis (IMPA) and his treatment is aligned with a pet who is completely autoimmune. We love him dearly, but he is our lemon, and we are so happy he found us. He attended daycare consistently starting at 8 weeks and has yet to find a person or animal he doesn't love. He impresses me more each and every day with his acceptance of other dogs in his space, around his resources, and even in his bed! You will definitely want to meet this guy! Finally, our star of the show, our "purse dog" Chihuahua/ Shih Tzu mix named Chug. He found his way into our hearts in January of 2021. He is the king of play styles and is the perfect size to help teach a puppy the ropes. He has taken many pups under his paw, and it is just the coolest thing to watch. Kelsey was a great sitter for our pup! I really appreciated how fast she replied to my messages when we first got connected and how knowledgeable she is when it comes to caring for dogs. It comforts me to know that she’s experienced in taking care of dogs and it really shows in the way she explains things (since this is my first puppy I had a lot of questions to ask!). She did a meet up with me before our first day care and she showed me around her house and had me meet her dogs that she has. I’m happy with how professional she’s been throughout this whole process! My puppy always came home happy from the day he’s had. Kelsey has been a pleasure to work with and I will definitely keep booking with her!

Kelsey was great with our big puppy. She was flexible with her drop off times and had no problem with an early pick up. We received several pictures while we were gone and our pup was happy, healthy and glad to see us when we got home. Will use her services again.
Kelsey was AMAZING with our 2 dogs. They had so much fun that they almost didnt want to come back home with us. We will definitely be going back to Kelsey in the future.
Kelsey was great! Our sitter cancelled last minute and Kelsey was able to come house sit and keep watch on our kitty and pup. They both seemed to have a great time and we will definitely contact Kelsey next time we need a sitter!
This was the first time booking Kelsey to watch our two dogs. She responded quickly for an initial meet & great and both Banner & Belle took an immediate liking to Kelsey. We conducted a brief interview to get to know her and agreed to utilize her services for a 4-day house sitting with our dogs. We conducted one final meet prior to our vacation and provided Kelsey with a key and to confirm dates, times, emergency contact information. We did receive a couple pictures of happy dogs enjoying their time with Kelsey. She did take them on walks, which could be challenging with the puppy. Dogs enjoyed their time with her, our house was in order and we feel comfortable utilizing her services for future getaways. Thank you Kelsey for caring for our precious pups. Until next time.

Schedule
I am a stay-at-home mom with three dogs of my own and my husband works full days sometimes from the home. I like to maintain a good work-life balance however with ample notice, I am able to switch my schedule around or find coverage. I will always try to accommodate.

I am flexible and tailor my care specifically to each family, and namely to each pet as well. Everyone is different, and I respect that! You let me know your expectation and it's my job to reach that standard.

A typical day
I am lucky that I live on/off of Pipeline Road, offering extensive walking trails without the dangerous flow of traffic. I also live on a big, farm type property of about three and a half acres. There is much to explore and lots of room to run around!
