Looking for Doggie Snuggles
Hello! Kyle and I joined Rover in July 2025. Earlier that summer, in June, we said goodbye to our beloved Black Lab, Otis. We brought him home at 7 weeks old, and he filled our lives with love for nearly eight years until he passed from chronic kidney disease. He was truly the heart of our family. After losing Otis, we knew we still wanted dogs to be part of our daily lives. With two young children, we weren’t ready for the full commitment of a new puppy, but we wanted to keep that love and energy in our home—so we found Rover! Between the two of us, we have over 15 years of dog-care experience. Kyle trained our dog to be off-leash, hunted ducks with him, and spent countless hours outdoors playing frisbee. For boarding: Our kids are 5 and 3, so we ask that any dog we host is comfortable around children. We live on Crooked Lake and would love to take your dog on the boat if they enjoy the water. Our home sits on a spacious lot with plenty of activity in our cul-de-sac, making it a fun environment for pups. Of note: I typically only host one dog at a time. However, some families are comfortable with me hosting two. If that situation comes up, I may check with you to see if you’re okay with it—but I will always respect your decision. Kyle works from home Monday–Friday with a flexible schedule. I’m off on Thursdays and would be happy to take on a long-term walking companion on my days off.

Kelsey and Kyle are absolute rockstars. This was my second time leaving my dog with them while I was on vacation, and somehow the experience was even better than the first. From the start, they made everything easy and stress-free, and throughout the stay they sent multiple daily updates with photos and videos. It made a huge difference being able to see how happy and comfortable my dog was the entire time. They kept him active with regular walks and lots of playtime, and I especially appreciated that he got to socialize with a friendly neighboring dog each day. It felt like he was on his own little vacation instead of just being boarded somewhere. What really stands out is how much they genuinely care. You can tell they truly love dogs, and it shows in the way they interact with them. It’s not just a service—they build real connections. Seeing the bond they’ve formed with my dog is incredibly reassuring. I trust them completely and never have to worry when he’s in their care. They go above and beyond, and I always feel like my dog is safe, happy, and genuinely loved. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, caring sitters.
So grateful to have found Kelsey and Kyle on Rover. They did such a great job with my girl. I received pictures and updates every day during my trip. I could tell they kept Tage busy because she came home both happy and tuckered out. There is truly no better feeling than knowing your fur baby is well taken care of while you're away. I highly recommend them.

Kelcie and Kyle take excellent care of our doggies and even sent them home with sweet notes and a gift/ toy. They are wonderful and we feel very fortunate to have them to watch our puppies!
We love being able to leave our doggies with Kelsey and Kyle and we know they’re well taken care of!

I am a Nurse Practitioner, and my husband works from home full time in the automotive sales industry. He is able to spend time with your dog throughout the day!

We have an open-yard setup with plenty of street activity. Although we live on a dead-end cul-de-sac, our yard is not fully fenced. Our street alone has nine children and four dogs, and it’s common to see the neighborhood dogs enjoying their own yards. We have plenty of space for long walks, and we love when visiting dogs enjoy playing with the friendly pups on our street—if that’s something you’re comfortable with, of course.

We enjoy going for walks, sitting outside, playing frisbee or with a ball, stimulation and lots of petting from us and the kids (kids are in daycare during the day), snuggles.
