I have grown up around dogs and animals my entire life. I learned responsibility with pet care since I was in charge of feeding, taking them on walks, and crating my animals beginning in elementary school. I love all shapes, sizes, and personalities of dogs, and have experience caring for a wide variety of them. I have cared for my senior dog who lost use of his back legs, and understand the care and patience it takes to give dogs medicine and care for them when they are in pain. My family is currently raising a puppy, so I have lots of experience with frequent potty breaks, training, feeding schedules, and lots and lots of playing! All of my family's dogs have been rescues, a couple with behavioral issues and quirks that influence their interactions with other people and other pets. I understand that they have certain triggers and require special consideration and care, and I am prepared to cater to their needs to keep them comfortable and safe. I have experience with dogs with aggressive and defensive behaviors surrounding toys and food, and understand the importance of boundaries to keep all parties safe. I have experience de-escalating dangerous situations, and so I will always prioritize safety. I truly will love your dog as my own, as it is one of my passions in life to love on as many animals as I possibly can! I would love to take your pets on walks, dog-sit, and do whatever else you may need!
