I’ve always been a big animal lover. As a kid, I read a dog breed encyclopedia cover-to-cover many times trying to pick the best breeds to fit my family’s lifestyle. In college, I volunteered at a local rescue and with an animal welfare organization. After college I worked at a large animal shelter for a year. Since my son was born, I’ve pet sat for friends and family, so I thought this would be a natural next step. Because of my background, I’m comfortable with all types of pets (excluding spiders- I’m sorry!)
