I work full time at a veterinary clinic but depending on the distance from my clinic, my position allows me some flexibility for a mid-day check in with pets for potty breaks and some pets.

I always make sure to communicate with clients if anything seems off about your pet or home while I am taking care of things. As well as being big on home safety myself, I make sure things are secure before I leave.
Information Kelsey H. would like to know about your pet
When sitting a pet I would prefer to know your pet's temperament and personality, to insure that while they are in my care that they feel comfortable and not stressed out. Understanding their behaviors would help me in making sure of that. Every pet is different and special and deserve to feel happy while their owners are away. I would also like to know if your pet is crate trained, house trained and their temperament towards other dogs and cats. I love all breeds and species and have owned several pets, currently my family has 2 dogs, a lab mix, a cocker spaniel/dachshund mix, and 2 cats. Plus with working at an animal clinic I have cared for dog breeds of all sizes and have cared for the occasional parrot boarding.
A typical day
I enjoy seeing how happy a pet is when playing and getting attention. We would play fetch, tug a war, mind working activies, cuddle and spend time enjoying the outside so long as the weather would permit us.

Hi there! I have worked at Northeast Animal Clinic for 9 years, starting in the kennel and now working in reception & management, with this job I have plenty of experience in giving oral medication as well as injection medication. I love animals of all sizes and have always enjoyed taking care of family pets and have pet sat for family friends as well in the past. If you choose me to care for your pets I will take care of them as my own and make sure to send you updates on how your pets are doing while you are away. I know it can be stressful to be away from your pet but they would be in good hands with me and I will be more than happy to send you photo updates as well.
