Safety, trust & environment
When caring for my dog inside my apartment, my own dog will be at another home (he can be dog reactive). There are 3 dog parks and a pet spa at my complex and walking trails nearby. I am happy to crate the dog if the client prefers. Dogs are allowed on all furniture and I sanitize the home after the departure of an animal for the safety of all dogs.
Information Kelsey F. would like to know about your pet
I like to know the following information about the pet in my care: will the animal be crated? do they have any allergies or special needs? do they prefer dog walking, dog parks, or play? any special requests while walking (i.e. avoid other dogs, carry treats while walking, avoid certain parts of the neighborhood)?
A typical day
It is important to me to provide both physical and mental stimulation for dogs in my care. This might look like a long walk with lots of sniff opportunities, playing fetch in a dog park, and interacting with toys or puzzles inside the home. I always communicate with the pet parents to see what their activity preferences are.

Dog Mom/Foster/Advocate
Pet care experience
My love for animals - especially dogs - started at birth. I have always had an animal by my side. Five years ago, I rescued my first dog and became passionate about animal welfare. For the past three years, I have walked dogs at local shelters, fostered dogs with urgent needs, and have advocated on their behalf. I am comfortable around dogs of all sizes and various behavior levels, have completed dog training on my own, and have participated in behavior evaluations at local animal shelters.
Reviews

Kelsey is great! She's reliable, communicates well, and gives us incredible peace of mind when leaving our dog at home. He seems happy and well-loved when we return. We feel very fortunate to have found her.

Kelsey continues to be an amazing dog sitter for pup! She is very trustworthy and shows our dog so much love and attention while we are away. I am so thankful that we found Kelsey.

Kelsey was great! She was very patient with our anxious dog.

Our Labrador is somehow energetic yet conversely lazy. Kelsey manages all her needs well. She’s communicative, helpful, but above all she’s a caring pet-sitter. Knowing our dog is in Kelsey’s care makes being away a little easier.
