Pet care experience

Open arms to all furry friends

Animals of all shapes & sizes have played a major part in my life. I had multiple dogs in my home growing up, and spent my summers working at my family’s farm. Taking care of animals is like a job- if you love what you’re doing it’s never really work.

Pets

Safety, trust & environment

I am a believer in “pets are family” and they are to be treated as such. I am also big on consistency and know how imperative it is to maintain a schedule for your pets.

Kelsey was great! My energetic Basenji pup had so much fun with her and he was very well taken care of. She kept me posted with how things were going and she worked with my busy schedule, too. I highly recommend her, and so does my pup!

Kelsey was great at handling our nervous pup. We are new to the area and she was wonderful with communication before and during her check ins.

Any medical complications should be disclosed beforehand as well as behavior, like if they do not do well with other animals. Knowing these things upfront will help me to plan how I can make your pets most comfortable throughout the duration of me looking after them. Also, if you have specific command verbiage’s that you use, it would be helpful to know, so that consistency is maintained and to avoid them getting confused, i.e “what is this girl saying to me?!?!”. Food/treat restrictions is also helpful to know.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
