I’ve cared for animals for as long as I can remember! I grew up with dogs and cats and learned early on how important consistency, patience, and affection are when it comes to pet care. My experience ranges from drop-in visits for family and neighbors’ dogs and cats to more immersive, full-time pet care with overnight stays. A few years ago, I cared for my parents’ dog while they were away, staying in their home and handling his daily routine. I fed him, took him on regular walks, played with him, cuddled with him, and sent frequent photo and video updates. Last year, I traveled to Costa Rica and spent three weeks living and volunteering full-time at a farm animal sanctuary. I cared for a horse, a pig, six goats, two water buffaloes, five dogs, and two cats. My responsibilities included feeding, cleaning enclosures, walking and bathing dogs, assisting with wound care, and helping protect the animals from pests. More recently, I spent a month caring for two dogs in my friends’ home while they were on vacation. I walked them three times a day, played with them, took them to the local park, and kept their parents updated so they felt connected and reassured that their pups were in good hands. I’m available for overnight stays, drop-in visits, and dog walking in your home. I provide feeding, walks, playtime, companionship, and oral medication when needed. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, including seniors, and I’m happy to tailor care to your pet’s routine, personality, and energy level. I treat every animal as if they were my own and make sure they feel safe and loved while you’re away. For overnight stays, I’m also happy to check your mail, water your plants, and do any other small tasks around the house free of charge.
