Experienced Caring Vet Assistant
I’ve been involved in taking care of animals as a veterinary assistant for almost 10 years. I am not only comfortable caring for dogs and cats, but exotic pets as well. I live in a house with a fenced back yard. There are plenty of places to take your pet for a walk around my house or they can relax on my couch like royalty- whichever suits them best. I will follow owner instructions carefully and make sure your pet has the best stay with me! If I’m checking in on them or going for a walk I’ll be sure to keep it exciting and stimulating so they come home dog tired. I am confident with all types of animals and look forward to caring for yours.

Kelsea was amazing with my cats. She spoiled them and it was obvious how quickly they became comfortable with her. Her communication with me was great and we got many pictures of happy kitties!
Kelsea was simply amazing. She took our two cats on very short notice and had a great setup for them when we arrived. They had their own space with a cat tree, beds and plants to enjoy. She sent me many updates and pictures. The cats did great, received a lot of attention and love from Kelsea while they were in her care. When we arrived to pick them up, she had just placed them in their kennels so they were ready to go, and they were not stressed at all. I cannot recommend Kelsea enough.
Kelsea has worked for the Pet Vet Hospital and Wellness Center since 2020. She is an experienced Veterinary Assistant and passionate about providing competent, compassionate and loving care to animals. Kelsea has excellent animal husbandry skills and very familiar with medicating and handling high maintenance pets. Besides cats and dogs, she is familiar with reptiles, rodents and picket pets. She is friendly, dependable and thoughtful. I would strongly recommend her for your consideration.
Choosing Kelsea to care for your animal(s) would be the best choice you could make. I have extremely high standards for my pet's care and Kelsea is one of the very few people on the planet I would trust them with. She is extremely loving, kind and empathetic towards all creatures, and along with her skills and knowledge of pet care, health, and behaviour, and she is hands down the best caregiver you could ask for. I couldn't recommend her highly enough.
I have worked with Kelsea for about two years now. She is not only an amazing veterinary assistant, she is the epitome of an animal lover and an awesome human. When I had only known Kelsea for a few months she took all of my reptiles into her home for a few weeks when I had no place for them to go. At work she is always striving to learn and make sure our patients are getting the best possible care. There is no one I would trust more to look after my pets for me!

Schedule
Pet care is my full time job! I take caring for everyone’s animals and their emotional wellbeing very seriously. I do have kids ages 8 and 4 so I am balancing motherhood/working but it is something I am passionate about.

I have a fully fenced back yard and kennels if needed for more security. As a vet assistant for 10 years I am also well versed in emergency aid as well as precautions to take when walking an animal. A typical day
Animals are treated like family in my home. They would get the same treatment that my pets do. Whether it be crazy stimulating walks or relaxing on the couch and watching a movie, I am happy to provide whatever your pet may need for maximum comfort.
