I homeschool and work part time from home. The kids and I are home most days and only leave for a few hours at a time for activities like gymnastics or soccer.

Both my dogs are friendly and not food aggressive at all. They free feed out of the same bowl. I have ways of separating or crating if need be. I’m very good with reading behavior and gaining trust.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or behavior issues I need to keep an eye for. Does the dog need to be on a leash at all times? Crate trained? Need to be put in a crate when we are not home?

The property is a very country like feel. Every morning we walk down to the lower property to feed the horse. This is when the dogs get their morning exercise. We’ll usually come back up and play ball. We have lots of hiking trails nearby but we do enjoy an occasional trip to dog beach.

I’m a 35 year old homeschooling mother of two (7&9). We would like to love on and take care of your furry friends while your away. I’ve taken care of animals of every kind. Neighbors and friends have relied on me to care for, feed, check on, bathe their cats, dogs, goats, horses and tortoise! We are punctual, kind, good at communicating and great with all animals! My availablity depends on if you mind my children come with me or not but I’m super flexible! I currently have one adult medium dog, 1 Large mixed breed (1year old) a horse and chickens. I have a large yard for plenty of play but it is NOT fenced so please no run a ways please :)

I can’t just say enough of Kelly she was wonderful with our Giant Saint Bernard she did a great job caring for him, and of course I will recommend her and will used her services again…
I couldn’t be more thankful for KellyJo and her family! Even with such a short notice, they are so accommodating and will answer all of your questions. I got constant updates and pictures, I could really tell they looked after him as one of their own. They took such good care of Dermot, I couldn’t be more grateful!
great job. Rosie was well taken care of. Plan on using KellyJo again this month and next year for a week.
