Time to update the profile some since it has been 10 years being on the Rover platform! My family and I, Billy, Kailey, and Kyla, are happy to help and provide pet services for your needs and care. I have started working some back in my veterinarians office that I have known for 20+ years and always have access to her in case of a pet emergency while your pets are in our care if your veterinarian is unavailable. My adult daughters, who many have had the pleasure to meet and actually watch grow up are now helping with Rover - Paws Over Texas needs as they have grown up in the business since I have been a pet sitter since 1999!! We are here to serve and assist with any pet needs that you might have and we come with MANY references, from one of our HIGHLY elected constables, to Pasadena Police Department, and even Deer Park fire chiefs! Ask us for references if the reviews are not enough. We know you have a choice for your pet care needs and we would love to be a landing spot for your fur babies if we can ever assist! Have questions....PLEASE ASK!! We do ask that your pets are current on vaccinations and on a flea prevention to prevent the spread of any parasites or diseases. BORDETELLA is our NUMBER ONE REQUEST. HOWEVER, IF YOUR PET IS UNABLE TO BE VACCINATED, LET KELLY KNOW. WE KNOW SOME DOGS THAT HAVE REACTIONS AND SOME ARE UNABLE TO BE VACCINATED! WE CAN DISCUSS THIS! Please note that the summer of 2025, there has been some type of upper respiratory infection going around, so please be cautious. We are happy again to answer any questions you might have! Paws Over Texas ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hello Everyone! *****May 2015**** For those of you who do not know me, my name is Kelly and I am what people call "a true animal lover"!!! I am a Mom of 3 crazy, but loving, wonderful kiddos and a HUGE pet family, from dogs to cats, to an iguana and a turtle! I love my crazy, vibrant long hair and you never know what color (I have greys to cover these days! Haha!) that I have and I love my tattoos and always looking to add another piece to myself to help tell my story! They make me who I am, working on getting Kelly 100% again, and fun colored hair, tattoos, dogs, dogs, and dogs are what will be the medicine to bringing the Kelly everyone knows and loves back!!! So here I go.... As a child growing up I was not allowed to have a dog :( I did have a gerbil that had babies one time and I did bring home a turtle from the ditch by the golf course another time, and we had a few outside cats that just weren't people cats. Dogs and farm animals, horses in particular, have always been my passion and I have been one of the lucky ones to be able to pursue a career in the animal industry. I started working in the veterinary field when I was only 15 years old! I worked at Bay Area Animal Hospital for a veterinarian named Dr. Schulte (RIP sir) and held onto that job for a year, before I had to give that up because in high school I was very much involved in FFA and raised steers my junior and senior years so a job became to much with the added duties. UPDATE ~ 12/2020 ~ I am pursuing that passion for horses as I continue my school endeavours and am currently traveling to Nacogdoches several times a week to pursue a degree in equine science! My son just graduated this December and I have been a student on campus now since the fall of 2018!! THANK-YOU to those clients that have been so understanding and willing to adjust and work around schedules. When I say animals are my passion and definitely the gift giving to me, know that it comes wholeheartedly that I enjoy your fur-family and that they are safe here with my family who I could not do it without! Again we thank you!! Now...back to that statement I said above, "I was not allowed to have a dog when I was growing up", I know so sad right?!?! Well I can remember as a "tween" walking over to a neighbor's house one day and seeing my very first Siberian Husky with those crystal blue eyes! It was love at first site and I knew I wanted this sweet, happy boy to be a friend of mine so I offered my neighbors a whopping 50 cents to walk their dog around the block everyday they needed. I offered to pay them!! They laughed and allowed me to walk him when needed, let me keep my 50 cents and in return my friends, sister, and I were allowed to swim in their pool and most importantly more time to "doggie sit" with the husky that also swam! I have been very fortunate to continue my career in the animal industry throughout my life with 18 years of working in the veterinary field, to now being a full time pet sitter/business owner. Those little lessons in life ya know, how I use to try and pay a neighbor to walk their dog because I LOVED him so much, to now I have a "Pet Sitting Family" that uses and TRUSTS me to watch their pet families? I help them and they help me, with any and all pet like situations. I do boarding, daily visits, medical cases, geriatric pets, rescue, and yes puppies and kittens, I help and provide for them ALL in anyway I can, that is who I am and this is what I am passionate and love to do!!! They call me and my business the ~ Home of the traveling "Veterinary Technician"! I am who I am, and I LOVE what I DO!!! Dog spelled backwards is ~GOD~ :)
