My name is Kelly. My family and I provide pet care. Our following appreciation and our reviews speak for our love and talent for pet care: We believe humans loving animals is a beautiful side of humanity that we are grateful to be given the opportunity to be a part of - the warmth, love, joy, and amazing kindness, of which we strive to continue for our pet guests. *Note for those outside Niagara* It might be helpful to know that our home is less than 5 minutes from the QEW. Our home is open to cats, dogs and small animals. We have a large deck, fully fenced backyard and a separate space for small animals. As expected, all animals are closely supervised. Additional Services: -Mandatory dog walks during boarding $27/walk -Drop off or pick ups ($0.60/km, minimum $25 one way, $50 round trip) -Wedding services -Vet appointments -Physiotherapy exercises -Dog Pair Bonding Exercises -Trim around eyes $10 -Baths $30 Please note, as our reviews indicate, I, Kelly, am not the only pet care giver. We would love to have all five family members on the Rover profile; but unfortunately, the app does not allow for it. When our pet care guests come, you will likely meet any one of the five of us to welcome your pet. So, please do not expect or wait for a particular person, without specifically requesting beforehand. Aside from pet care giving, these are each family member’s main roles: 1. Kelly, where it all began, deals with the bookkeeping and taxes. 2. David, Kelly’s partner, is the athlete that enjoys walking and running with the pets. 3. Hannah is our retired mom, who the pets appreciate mostly for her reassuring stillness with them as she reads and sews. 4. Leo, Roo’s partner, keeps the grounds clean and clear. 5. I, Roo, in addition to communications and quotes, in my private pet accommodation area of the home, take on pets that need extra care and consideration (elderly, puppy, unvaccinated due to age or health conditions, disabled, extremely high energy, sick/nauseous due to long travel, diarrhoea, highly nervous/anxious, etc.) Please note, our priority is always the safety and comfort of all pet guests and us, the care givers, ourselves. Socialization of pets is an extra service, not an obligation and occurs only if both pet and pet parent pass our confidence assessment. How we operate: Being a 5 persons team, of which 4 work at home, one or more persons are always home. And for communications to reach us, provided are: the Rover thread, cellular, WhatsApp, Alexa driveway motion sensor alerts, Ring doorbell with camera and telecom, and a physical door. Please be aware: Drop-offs and pick-ups are intentionally kept short for the following reasons: -all questions and concerns should have been addressed before drop-off (so to pet parents who need more assurance before drop-off, please pursue a Meet and Greet or video chat) -dogs do not like strangers around the property (for the peacefulness of our home and consideration to our neighbours, we try to prevent or minimize pet barking and overexcitement); so, please, also do not enter inside the house -there are multiple drop-offs and pick-ups throughout the day (the safest and most peaceful way to welcome pets into care is not to have strange human-, car-, and pet-traffic) -feedback is usually done throughout the visit and not at drop-off, unless there is concerning behaviour to notify the pet parent of -winter, cold, rain, wind, heat outdoors are not ideal conditions for conversing in -so, once again, please do not expect or wait around for a particular person, without specifically requesting beforehand
