My love for animals has shaped so much of my life. For as long as I can remember, lost and stray animals have had a way of finding me, and I’ve made it my mission to help them get safely home or receive the care they need. A few years ago, I had the opportunity to spend a year volunteering with a street-animal rescue organization in St. Maarten. The number of stray dogs and cats throughout the Caribbean is heartbreaking, and the animals arrived in many different conditions. Some were feral and needed to be safely trapped, socialized, and rehabilitated. Others were orphaned puppies and kittens requiring hand-feeding, while many were former pets who had been abandoned, malnourished, or injured. I helped care for these animals and prepare them for foster and forever homes—either on the island or, with the help of volunteer escorts, in loving homes around the world. It was challenging, deeply meaningful, and the most rewarding work I have ever done. My last pet was the love of my life, Sophie, a Tibetan Spaniel who was by my side for almost 17 years. She traveled with me by plane, sailboat, and RV and experienced more places and adventures than many people do in a lifetime. I miss her every day and remain incredibly grateful to have shared my life with such a special soul. Now that I’m settled in Palm Harbor, Florida, I’m not quite ready to welcome another pet of my own. Instead, I’ve chosen to follow my passion by helping care for yours. Because I work remotely, I have the flexibility to provide attentive, dependable care and plenty of companionship. I would be honored to care for your pet with the same patience, affection, and devotion I gave Sophie. I look forward to meeting you and your beloved companion.❤️❤️

Kelly was great and very communicative on her drop-in visits to check on our kitty. Lola hid, as expected, but Kelly made sure to spot her and snap a picture so we knew our baby was doing okay.
Kelly was the very first Rover dog sitter for my anxious dog and I would not wish for anything better. Daily and on-time report cards, detailed comments, sweet pics and TLC for my pup. Exactly what we needed!
She has been great to work with as we have her booked on a regular basis. She communicates well with us. She arrives on time to care for our pet.

Safety, trust & environment
You pet's safety is my highest priority, and I will love and care for them as if they were my own. I am very careful while pet-sitting/walking. No escaping on my watch. I will always have your pup on a leash while in my care. That is a must for me. While I no longer offer daycare in my home, I provide personalized house-sitting services in your pet's familiar environment to ensure their comfort and safety. I would like to know all about your preferences in order to make the stay to your liking. My goal is to create a comfortable and soothing environment for your pet while they're with me in your home. My experience includes administering various types of medications, making me proficient in caring for dogs with special medical needs. Whether your dog is a playful puppy, a senior needing gentle care, or has a specific temperament or medication requirement, I have it all under my belt.
A typical day
A typical day involves lots of love, cuddles, and kisses, playing with their favorite toys, going for walks, playing ball, and enjoying quality time together.
