Show me your routine and I'll keep it consistent. I don't allow dogs to jump on me and there are dogs that sit only for me. I have been told that my love language is competence and I love every critter in my care. For house sitting stays, I may bring a human guest by for extra company, depending on the critter.

Exploration is always fun! Sometimes that's to check out the new smells at the park. Other times, it's to taste a new stick. Have a fetch champion? We'll do that! Pet rat (or bird)? I'll bring some newspaper to shred into a nest together. Maybe something my cat laid on, so there's an intriguing smell. Fish? You tell me! (The answer is usually nothing) I keep neocaridina shrimp and occasionally blanche a vegetable for them to snack on for a few minutes.

The first pets I ever sat were my neighbors horses. Soon after, a forest fire came through and I had people bringing me wild rabbits and birds to rehab. The critters have gotten much more standard since - cats, rodents, birds, reptiles, and aquatic friends. My own cat is an old curmudgeon with sad kidneys so I know how important food quality and consistency is. I know not to overfeed fish and can do partial water changes if you'd like.

Kelly is great! For the short drop-ins, the cats are cleaned, well-fed and obviously well cared for. We'd gladly book Kelly again!
