I’m a recently retired government employee who is looking to find doggie love since our dog passed away. I have lots of time to give, so it is not an issue to give your dog the time he or she may need.

I love to go on walks with dogs and take them to the dog park if the owner is ok with that. I live near some regional parks that have great trails. I also like to take dogs to restaurants, sit outside, and people watch while occasionally doling out treats.

I grew up with Spaniels and German Shepherds, so I understand medium and large dogs’ needs well. They require exercise and mental stimulation for their well-being. I also have experience caring for senior dogs with heart ailments, blindness, and arthritis. I know their needs are different. I have also cared for a dog through TPLO surgery and did all of his physical therapy.
