I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of every size since I was 8. My neighbors knew what an animal lover I was and knew their pets were in good care. I participated in Dog 4-H, as a youth, growing up in Washington State. I’ve also competed with my dogs, and other people’s dogs, in AKC confirmation, obedience, agility, and rally trials. I’m very familiar with various dog breeds and their specific traits/needs. I also have experience with cats and kittens. I’m recently retired from teaching and seeking my next career. If you hire me, you can be assured that your pets will feel loved and appreciated.

Safety, trust & environment
I don’t plan to board dogs at our home due to concern for my cats, however, if we can verify that the dog won’t chase the cats, I’d be willing to consider. We have a fully fenced yard with large shade trees. I also have separate fenced areas and kennels, as needed. I am able and willing to exercise your dog and/or go for walks. I walked my own dog an average of 3 miles a day, until it became too much for him. Through dog showing and training, I have lots of experience walking dogs.

Schedule
I’m retired from teaching, and very much looking forward to spending more time with animals of all shapes and sizes. I’m available 7 days a week, flexible hours.
