My Dog Wellbeing Volunteer role with Guide Dogs gave me lots of experience with dogs. I also share my home with my own ex-guide dog, a 3 year old Golden Retriever named Walter 🐾, who chose the life of adventure instead. A few reasons we might be a great fit: 🏡 I work from home 🌳 Garden for a proper run around 🚶 Lovely local walks right on the doorstep 🐶 Real hands-on experience 🤝 I'd love to meet you first, so ensure your dog enjoys Walter's company (and you can meet me too!)

Kelly has had dogs in her family ever since she was a child. She currently owns a Golden Retriever named Walter who she homed from the Guide Dogs where she also volunteered for a good period of time. To say Kelly is suited for a role as a pet caregiver is a bit of un understatement! There is zero doubt when it comes to Kelly and animals, dogs in particular! One meet and you'll understand why!
Kelly looked after my black Labrador for many years, and they absolutely adore each other. My old girl comes to life whenever she sees her favourite human! Kelly is fantastic with dogs, and her volunteering experience with the Guide Dogs Centre has given her a wealth of knowledge and understanding. She was always conscientious about feeding times, allergies, and making sure walks were the right length and suited my dog's needs. I honestly could not recommend a more reliable, caring, and loving dog sitter.
Kelly is a true animal lover and everything you could wish for in a pet sitter. She is practical, resourceful, kind and considerate. I would have no reservations in recommending her to care for your animal family.

Schedule
I work from home, so I can be flexible around your schedule - I'm currently only advertising weekdays only. We go on dog walks every day, and your dog is welcome to join us. Whether it's a quick loop or a longer ramble, there's always time built into the day for a good walk.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
Inside, there's plenty of room to join me by my desk, or snooze and play in other areas of the house. Outside, there's a fenced garden with lots of space to run around. If your dog has a bed, favourite blanket or crate, feel free to bring it along - Walter's happy to share his bed, toys and favourite snoozing spots too.
