*Accredited Dog Trainer through the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants* ***New house sitting clients: Please contact me at least 1-week in advance so we have ample time to schedule a meet & greet and discuss your pet’s needs. All meet & greets will be done with all humans wearing masks unless all parties are fully vaccinated.*** Dogs, in a nutshell, are my passion. I'm an Accredited Dog Trainer through the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants and an overall nerd. I love learning about training and behavior modification to improve the lives of dogs and their humans. Whether it's walking, hiking, training or just cuddling you can rest assured your dog is in compassionate, responsible hands. I have experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and breeds and have experience with behavioral issues as well. If your dog is fearful or reactive, I will be an understanding and compassionate friend who will take time to make them feel safe. If they're pullers or leash reactive don't worry; I can work with that. If they don't have any issues then hey, that's cool too! We can still be friends and have a ball together. I look forward to meeting with you and your dog! ***Note: I do not provide training services through Rover. Any and all training appointments need to be booked through Courteous Canine, LLC.

Kelly is THE BEST dog sitter - and sends some many pupdates. She does whatever it takes to make sure your pup is comfortable while their humans are away. Highly recommend!!

Exceeded our expectations for care. So happy to receive so many updates on our girls. So relieved we have someone so reliable to care for them!

Kelly was wonderful with our babies when we went away. She sent us multiple photos and videos a day and made sure that Max and Johann were very well cared for. We would 100% keep in contact for future trips and recommend her to anyone!

Kelly was great with our 3 boys!! We were away for the weekend and Kelly stayed at our home with the boys. We could tell from all the pictures that the boys were having a good time! We would definitely have Kelly over to watch our boys again!

Where your pet will stay

Safety, trust & environment

All clients are required to wear name tags on appropriately fit collars at all times. In most cases, I don't allow the use of invisible fences while I am sitting and will instead use a long line if there's no physical fence. Equipment note: For the safety and well-being of the dogs and myself, I do not use prong or shock collars. I have many collars and harnesses of all sizes to use if needed!

Pets

A typical day

I love decompression walks (aka sniffaris or sniffy walks), hikes, training games, and enrichment activities with dogs! It's always fun teaching them something new or brushing up on old skills, too!

Are they up-to-date on vaccines? Have they ever bitten a human? If so, what was the situation, and how severe was the bite? Have they ever caused injury to another dog? If so, how severe? Does your dog have any allergies? Are there any “quirks” I need to be aware of? E.g. uncomfortable with people wearing hats. Panics in the car. Lunges at car tires on walks.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
