With a week's notice, our schedule can be very flexible. We're an active family during the school year. Dogs who stay with us need to be ok for at least 4 hours alone. That is usually the maximum amount of time they would be left. Beyond that, our kids will run them in circles around our backyard every afternoon and plenty of chances to go on a walk.

Safety, trust & environment
We understand that the first time being left at our home is difficult for a dog. We're prepared to offer whatever they need to assimilate - a treat they brought from home, cuddles, playing fetch in the yard, picking a toy from our box, or even just sitting quietly nearby. Dogs are free to explore downstairs and lounge on the couches. We do not require crates. *Only hypoallergenic dogs are allowed in bedrooms.*

Information Kelly P. would like to know about your pet
Has your dog been boarded with non-family before? Does your pet have any fears? If so, are they coming prepared with anxiety meds or vests?
A typical day
When not in school I have two energetic, animal-loving kids who have helped care for all the dogs. We might even try to teach them a new trick if we have the time!

Dog Boarding
Pet care experience
Dogs and I just get along! My kids are natural dog-whisperers, as well. We may not own any pets ourselves, but we love the time we get to play with the dogs who stay here. We have a large, fenced-in yard for exploring and chasing critters. Our neighborhood is very dog-friendly, and perfect for walks. When dogs come back for another stay, they run through the front door and make themselves at home on the couch. A meet and greet is REQUIRED prior to booking. Our experience has shown that your dog will have less anxiety when they are dropped off if they had a chance to familiarize themselves with us and our house ahead of time. *Max stay for 1st time is 2 nights.* Our regulars enjoy discounts! 20% off on your 3rd stay. Low prices for low-maintenance dogs. We have extensive experience caring for senior dogs and administering injections. Even though someone is usually home, our schedule can still be full with getting people where they need to be. Because of that, All pick up and drop off times Monday-Friday must be between 3pm-8pm. I take in more than one dog at a time, especially during summer months and all holidays. If your dog is not socialized and needs to be boarded alone, an additional charge per night will be included for a private booking. *Damage to the house or household items will incur a fee.*
Reviews

Kelly and her family were great with our dog. We had a lady minute need for a sitter and she was available. She communicated well and sent updates daily. We would definitely have her watch our Coco again!

Kelly and her family were great. We had an introductory meeting and I dropped Jackson off the following Friday.

Kelly and her family did wonderful job caring for and loving on Norris. Will definitely use her again.
Kelly and her family were wonderful! Our little dog, Rocky, has never stayed with anyone but family members but he settled in fine and loved all the love and attention from Kelly’s two boys! Kelly kept me informed and shared pictures throughout his stay. I’m most appreciative to the entire family for opening their home to Rocky!
