I will make sure your animals are safe at all times during a visit, that is priority #1. I will always send updates with photos! Mutual trust is gained over time, but it can be a rapid process - for both humans and animals, as long as there is thorough communication. For my own safety, I do not do visits or walks after dark, but early evening is okay. Latest hour for a scheduled walk would be 4:00 PM in winter months and 5:00 PM in summer. I do not walk dogs if it is too hot for them and their paws, so outside potty breaks will be brief if the temperature is high. Early morning walks will be best in summer months. I don't mind walking in light rain, as long as your dog has some protective gear. I can only walk two dogs at a time if they are smaller. I cannot walk large dogs unless they have a very calm temperament. If you have a very reactive dog, it's best to hire a trainer or behaviorist to work with. This goes without saying - I will always refill water, and give any food or treats that you choose. I will make sure any accidents that I find in your home get cleaned. Time must be alotted for any medicating or special needs. We can discuss any other requests or specific needs depending on your circumstances.

We can discuss what your needs are and plan what a visit will entail day to day. I will always provide stimulation to some degree, whether it be with toys, affection, and/or talking. It will depend on what the animals are interested in and responsive to. If animals want space, I will honor that. Walking of course is always a joy, but if you have a fenced in yard, I am happy to do some laps with your dog if they are high energy.

For me, caring for animals is a privilege. It is gratifying work that I love to do. I find it healing and fun to spend time connecting with them and learning from them. My connection to animals stems from a place of deep love and protection. I see animals we live with as companions, not pets, and we are their stewards and guardians. I believe they deserve to be cared for in the ways that best suit them as individuals with autonomy. Every animal companion is different, but overall they all require the same things from us: compassion, respect, presence, patience, and responsibility - honored in every aspect and stage of their life. Within my personal and professional experience over the years, I have learned a lot about how much time and intention must be put into caring for an animal companion properly. It is a lot of work, no doubt, but the animals deserve that from us and more! I am ready to help my community by providing an abundance of care to animals when their human family needs a little help. I understand how demanding life is, so hiring a sitter like me can give you and your animals peace of mind. In addition to caring for my own animal companions in the past, I have shared my love and care with the companions of friends, companions of clients, rescued farm animals residing in sanctuaries, and animals awaiting adoption in shelters. I am experienced with seniors and special needs animals ❤️❤️❤️

Kelly is always loving and kind to my pets. She is able to connect with animals in a way most people don't understand. I haven't seen anyone give so much love, compassion and undivided attention to my own pet as she has in the years that i have known her. If there is anything in the world that makes her truly happy, to the bottom of her heart, it would be spending wholesome quality time with animals. If you are in search of someone dependable and trustworthy to help you tend to your pets look no further because Kelly is by far the best!
Kelly is a very compassionate individual. Her love, care, and affection for animals unmatched by anyone I know. Kelly working for Rover would be a highly beneficial situation for the animals and her alike.
I have known kelly for sometime. I have known her to be very honest and kind hearted. She loves animals of all walks of life. When kelly comes by she is one of the only people that can calm my dog Nyla, as Nyla has not yet been trained. Kelly seems to control Nyla very well. I have seen Kelly treat all other animals with the same respect and love.
