WALKIES 4 ALL AGES 🐾

My name is Kelly & I live in Chartridge Lane, Chesham. I love animals, especially dogs and will always give yours as much love and attention as I give my own. I’ll never just do ‘pavement walks’ and will always try to make your pups walk as exciting and as stimulating as possible, through different areas and terrain. I have around 10 years experience in caring for dogs of all ages, from puppies to seniors, training puppies and caring for dogs with medical needs. I myself have a 4 year old boxer, who I have trained from a puppy, so I am used to bigger, excitable dogs. She also has a variety of complex medical needs, so I have the experience to care for dogs with different medical conditions too. I can also administer any medication if required. I can walk your dog with mine/other dogs, if you would like them to socialise, or if they are mildly reactive/nervous, then I can walk them alone in quiet spots. If your dog is fussy or quirky and has certain needs, then just let me know and I will do my absolute best to accommodate for them.

Safety, trust & environment

I am very flexible and can walk your dog at any time of the day, with the exception of hot and humid weather, where for their health and safety, I would adjust the time to walk them earlier or later on in the day. I will arrange to meet you and your dog, at your convenience prior to any first walk or visit. This is to assess their temperament, discuss any medical needs and/or special requirements that they may have. Unfortunately, I will not walk very reactive dogs or dogs with PTSD, as I don’t feel that I have the appropriate experience to ensure their safety and the safety of others during our walks. I will walk dogs and puppies in training and will also provide some loose lead and road awareness training during our walks together. Please provide any training treats, water bottles and their toys if required. For walkies, your dog will require: 1. A harness or collar. It must have an up-to-date ID tag in situ, as this is a legal requirement in the U.K. 2. A short control lead - no extendable leads for safety reasons. (I can provide). You’re also welcome to provide a long recall line (not extendable) if you would prefer your dog to stay on the lead off-road, but wish them to play and explore safely. If you would like your dog to be off lead during off-road walks, then they will need to prove good recall prior to walking.

We have used Kelly many times for our boxer dog and have always been happy with him spending time with her. He is always well cared for and enjoys his time with her (we don’t get that awful look back when we leave) so I would be happy to recommend Kelly.

I believe Kelly to be a truly trustworthy and loyal person and I would trust her absolutely to look after my dog. She always puts the needs of any dog in her care first and is very attuned to their behaviour and needs. She has trained her own dog from a puppy to a very high standard and as a result has a well socialised dog with excellent recall who interacts well with other dogs and people. Kelly is always calm when around dogs and has a natural ability to engage with them and earn their trust. I have absolute confidence in how she cares for any dog that she has responsibility for.

Kelly has a natural affinity and love of dogs. She has trained her own dog from a puppy to a very high standard. She understands dog’s behaviours and comes to logical decisions as to their care and needs. I would feel confident in trusting any dog in Kelly’s care.
