My availability varies from week to week, but generally I'm available weekday afternoons and evenings (and some mornings), and most weekends. I'm usually available on holidays, as well. Do you need someone to care for your pup or kitty while you are out of town, on vacation, or working long hours? Would you like regular walks or visits because of your work schedule? I would love to help, so let's visit about your pet care needs!

Safety is my utmost priority. If I take your dog outside to play or go for a walk, I will make sure your dog is secured with a leash or is within a fenced location. You will not find someone more vigilant to her surroundings than me. I have plenty of experience because when I'm out and about with my own dog, I have to manage her environment and constantly be alert to triggers. I will get to know you and the needs of your dog or cat, and make sure our time together is safe.

Dogs need physical and mental stimulation, so with permission I will incorporate activities such as walks, playtime, puzzle toys, and training with your dog. Your dog will be smiling from all the fun we have together! Cats also need to play and satisfy their hunting instincts, so let me know what your cat likes to do. Whether it is chasing a laser pointer, fetching a catnip mouse, batting at a feather, or being brushed, I'll be sure your cat enjoys some fun!

I've cared for animals my whole life and have spent over 20 years volunteering and working at a shelter for cats and kittens. From friendly to shy to stressed, I have worked with cats of all behavior types. Over the years, I have administered many types of medications in forms including pills, liquids, and injections (specifically, insulin for diabetic cats). I have a special needs cat of my own who requires seizure medication three times a day. But I'm not just a cat person! I have worked with shelter dogs and also have experience training puppies and adult dogs. I have personal experience with reactive dogs. My 9-year-old mixed breed has leash and barrier reactivity, so I continuously work with her and manage her environment. She is super intelligent and is a wonderful agility teammate. We have so much fun together! I also have a special place in my heart for senior dogs. I establish their trust and truly enjoy giving them the love and care they deserve.

Kelly does a fantastic job with our pup. Our pup really likes Kelly and has a good time during her drop in visits. We feel like our pup is in very capable and caring hands with Kelly.
Kelly was amazing with our 5 pets for a 3 day weekend! She was reliable, kind, and was able to accommodate pets with medication. She sent us lots of pictures and update messages each visit, which made us feel good about having a sitter. Kelly went the extra mile for all of our animals and I would highly recommend her to anyone. I hope to be able to have Kelly sit our pets again in the future.
