Information Kelly M. would like to know about your pet
Please share any special needs or behaviors your pet(s) may have. This allows me to better understand what will make our time together the most rewarding for us both! This can include any disabilities, likes and dislikes, triggers (squirrels, other dogs, cats, etc), or anything else that can help me better understand your pet(s).
A typical day
I love to play games with both dogs and cats and keep them stimulated and happy. When walking dogs I often change our route so that they can experience different sights and smells each time. When walking my own dogs I love to take them to different places such as Joyner Park, Falls Lake, Durant Nature Park, the Greenway, and more. This helps excite them for exercise and allows for new experiences each time!

Professional Care since 2006
Pet care experience
I have been caring of furry family members since 2006. I owned and operated a very successful pet sitting company for 12 years and prior to that was a police officer and detective for 13 years. Since having children I have devoted my spare time to fostering dachshunds and providing quality pet sitting and dog walking services to many pet owners in and around Raleigh and Wake Forest. My family consists of 2 young human kiddos, 2 senior dachshunds - Maggie and Julie and two queen-bee cats named Autumn and Lucy. I’ve been a dachshund mom for 23 years and work closely and foster with Doxie by Proxy Rescue. My last 2 rescues were brought into our family at the ages of 12 and 13. I have experience with almost all breeds and ages of dogs and cats. I’m 49 and very responsible and trustworthy. I will care for your pets as if they are my own.... guaranteed! My schedule is fairly flexible as I stay at home with my 2 kids ages 7 and 9. Depending on the time of year (summer breaks and track outs may change my availability just slightly). Weekends and holiday are always open! I am very aware of a client’s home and what is expected as far as safety and trust. Being a former police officer, I am a trustworthy option. I strive to stick close to a client’s schedule and routine when it comes to the pet’s feedings, walks, potty times, and play.

Kelly was great! Lots of communication and dogs were well taken care of!
Kelly is the best! We know our house and our cat are both in good hand with her!

Kelly was absolutely fantastic and Charlie loved her so much. Definitely would recommend her for all of your pet sitting needs.

Kelly was awesome! I highly recommend her! My two dogs received the care and attention they needed, and my house was very well kept! I trust her completely! Kelly is very friendly, knowledgeable and dependable. You will not be disappointed!
