IT IS ALL I DO. I feel so lucky!! If I am not sitting/walking, I am near the beach or at home, happily taking care of my two 17 year old kittens, Buddy & Bear. Buddy has been feeling a little stressed lately due to a Urinary Tract Cystitis flare up, so I’ve been like Velcro to my baby boy. But a full-time sitter none-the-less! It makes me feel good that I can help people while they’re away, and they can be at ease knowing their babies are comfortable and being loved. Sometimes sitters do this for extra money, but I sit/walk full-time (even with a Bachelors Degree) because I truly love animals, love helping others, and am a big softie.

I will be on time and always communicative, do not hesitate to reach out at any time. I do not cancel appointments and will always will do my best to help in a last-minute need situation. I will not be distracted or on my cell phone during a sitting (besides taking pictures of your pets) as I am a bit overprotective for their safety and definitely hyper-attentive of their mood and well-being. I will treat your home and your pets as if they are my own, you have my word. <3

You know best what it takes to make your pet comfortable while you’re away.

Play fetch, tug-of-war, take a stroll together and enjoy the fresh air and sights. Cats let US know what they are in the mood for (haha)… play time with toys, toss a few treats, chase a laser, watch birds together, or just be a warm lap to sit on… ***I am here to take care of your pet PER YOUR INSTRUCTIONS. They should feel as though you (almost) haven’t left at all.***

I’m Kelly (she/her), I relocated to St. Augustine Beach / Anastasia Island from Fort Lauderdale to live closer to my parents (Ponte Vedra). ❤️ As a child (80’s-90’s!), I grew up in MO, MA, ME, MD, and PA — and with a big family in MI (Go Blue! Go Lions! 💙💛). I have extensive experience cat sitting, dog walking, and personal/family assisting. (I have only just started using my Rover account again a few months ago.) In 2008, I graduated college in PA with a BA in Biology. For over a decade I was an Associate Insurance Broker, managing and growing a $20mm+ portion of my President’s book of business (high-risk commercial liability). July 2020, I moved to Fort Lauderdale. One of my most fulfilling jobs in FLL, in addition to pet sitting, was personal assisting for a family there with two boys. In the past I was also a waitress. lifeguard, private swim instructor, retail sales manager, and rideshare driver. I am dependable to a T, empathetic, nurturing, while being aware & street-smart. However, being raised in Maine, I was lucky enough to grow up with good values and among nature—- woods and the sea. I am vigilant and protective, yet warm, nurturing, and maternal.
