I grew up with a groomer mother, and fell into the business myself about halfway through high school. Grooming gave me the edge in learning to read canine body language (and later feline), and applying the appropriate psychology to each situation. I am Pet CPR and First Aid certified through PetTech, and am currently working with different trainers and their styles through Enlighten Dogs. Dogs and cats have been part of my personal life and household my entire life, along with a variety of other animals. I currently have a 10-lb poodle mix named Paris, a black domestic shorthair cat named Jack, a bearded dragon, and the occasional foster dog. I do work full time in two different grooming salons and house call, so my hours available are typically before 9:00 AM and after 5 PM. Those hours do vary according to the schedule. Scheduled walks can be made into pack walks with multiple dogs for a healthy psychological boost for your pup if you request it. Alternatively, solo walks will be enhanced with command reinforcements and training.
