HUGE yard, full-time sitter
Nothing makes me happier than giving your dogs a vacation of their own while you’re out of town. I’ve raised 5 dogs from puppyhood to seniors, as well as dog-sat for friends and neighbors, and I’ve never met a dog I didn’t adore. Your dogs will have 100% supervision (this is my full-time job) and will not be left alone, virtually ever. I accept only one family’s dogs at a time to make sure they receive my undivided attention. My husband and I have a huge, super quiet, forested yard (1.3 acres) with an airlock-style double gate for dogs. There is very little foot or vehicle traffic nearby, but there is a state park that’s perfect for long walks through the woods. Your pup will get a built-in play buddy, my “child of another species,” Champ, who’s great with all ages, sizes, and energy levels of other dogs. As a rescue, he’s taught me a lot about the special care and patience that people-shy dogs require. Complex needs are welcome. I’m a certified speech-language pathologist who formerly worked in special education. I’ve always had a soft spot for those who need extra care or take more time to bloom. I don’t believe in “bad” dogs, only dogs whose needs aren’t being supported by the current environment. Consequently, I train using positive methods only. No aversives, ever. Although I love dogs of all sizes, for our small dog’s safety, I accept *DOGS 30 POUNDS AND UNDER ONLY*. Thank you. Dogs are the best people. I’m honored to be entrusted with the wellbeing of yours.

Kelly went above and beyond with my little Mac, he is an anxious rescue dog who needs a lot of love and patience! She sent me so many updates during the stay, loved him like he was her own and took him on super fun adventures with Champ! Kelly and David are kind, caring and extremely attentive people who love dogs. Mac came back happy and so tired from all the playtime! She is a top tier sitter and I had zero worries while I was away. 10000/10 stars!
Kelly is always amazing with Addie, but has taken such good care of her as she's struggled through an injury this week. The extra time and love is much appreciated!
Kelly was an amazing sitter! I’m so grateful to her because she accepted a last-minute request to watch Merry while I was visiting from out of town. She sent so many wonderful updates all throughout the day which I really appreciated as Merry is a recently-adopted senior rescue dog and it was the first time I ever put her in daycare. Merry warmed up to her immediately and looked like she was having so much fun with Kelly and her dog Champ.
Our dog loved staying with Kelly! Absolutely fantastic dog sitter—reliable and caring. Our pup was happy, well-exercised, and clearly adored during his stay.
Another amazing stay with Kelly! Addie was kept busy with walks, playtime, puzzle toys, and new adventures at a nearby park! Kelly is so caring and thoughtful with my girl! Can't thank her enough for all that she does while Addie is in her care!

Currently I only offer petsitting in my own home, not in clients’ homes. Our house is single story, double fenced, and thoroughly puppy proofed for your fur-baby.
