A Home Away from Home for Your Pup
Hi! I'm Kelly. I've had dogs in my life for as long as I can remember, ever since my family adopted our first dog when I was 5 years old. Over the years, I've shared my life with all kinds of dogs, from my tiny Miniature Yorkie to my big 100-pound Shepherd mix. I've fostered dogs, dog-sat for friends and family, and spent countless hours learning about positive reinforcement training through private lessons and hands-on experience. I know how hard it can be to leave your dog behind when you travel because I've been there myself. Whenever I boarded my own dogs, all I wanted was to know they were safe, happy, loved, and getting plenty of attention. That's exactly the kind of experience I hope to give both you and your pup. My home is fully fenced with a large front yard and backyard where dogs can run, play, explore, or simply relax in the sunshine. I even built a dedicated potty area for my own dogs, which many visiting pups quickly figure out. My dogs passed away a few years ago, and I genuinely miss having dogs around the house. I work from home as a freelance designer, so I'm home throughout the day and enjoy having a furry coworker by my side. Whether your dog loves walks, fetch, belly rubs, naps on the couch, or simply being near people, they'll get plenty of attention and companionship while they're here. I also have an almost 6-year-old daughter who has grown up around dogs her entire life. She's gentle, respectful, and absolutely adores them. One of her favorite things to do is sit beside them and read stories. Because our home includes a young child, I can only host dogs that are comfortable around children, and all interactions are always supervised by me. My goal is simple: to make your dog feel safe, loved, and right at home while you're away.

Ratings and reviews
It was great to meet Kelly and her family. We appreciated how she seemed to really look forward to taking care of our dog. Everything was seamless and Ponyboy looked happy and tired (as you would expect) after a day away. It is great to find Kelly in our neighborhood - having a nearby sitter is a real asset.

Kelly and her family took great care of Louie. Sent updates throughout the visit. We knew our dog was in great hands.

Charlie LOVES Kelly! He gets so excited when he hears her come up. You can tell Kelly is a dog lover the minute you meet her. She has a special bond with dogs, and they just warm right up to her. She is very respectful of Charlie’s allergies and quirks. And she takes the BEST photos. 10/10!
I have known Kelly for over ten years, and spent a lot of time with her two amazing dogs were both so sweet and well cared for. Kelly also dogsat for me multiple times and always took great care of my Lhasa apso. My dog would always be excited to go over to Kelly's house so I knew she would have fun and be in great hands. She's a terrific, caring, and dedicated dogsitter!
Calendar and availability
Schedule
I'm currently freelancing as a designer, so I spend most of my day at home. After I drop my daughter off at school each morning, I'm back home for the day, which means your pup won't be sitting around waiting for someone to come home from work. Whether we're hanging out in the yard, going for a walk, playing fetch, or just keeping each other company while I work, I genuinely love having dogs around and spending time with them.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
Your dog's safety and comfort are my top priorities. My home is fully fenced with a large front yard and backyard, and all outdoor time is supervised. Dogs are never left outside unattended and will always have access to a clean, comfortable indoor space to relax and feel at home. Before each stay, I like to learn about your dog's routine, personality, preferences, and any special needs so I can provide care that's as close to home as possible. Whether that means sticking to a feeding schedule, administering medication, reinforcing training, or making time for extra walks and play, I'm happy to accommodate. As a lifelong dog owner with experience fostering, dog sitting, and positive reinforcement training, I understand that every dog is different. My goal is to create a calm, safe, loving environment where your dog feels comfortable, secure, and well cared for while you're away. I'll also keep you updated with regular photos and messages so you can relax knowing your pup is in good hands. For the safety and comfort of all dogs in our care, we only accept 1–2 dogs at a time from the same family and do not host dogs from multiple households simultaneously. This allows us to provide plenty of attention, maintain a calm environment, and ensure every pup feels safe and at home. *Since our home includes a 6-year-old, I can only accommodate dogs that are friendly and comfortable around children.
A typical day
Walks, playtime in our fenced yard, fetch, enrichment toys, belly rubs, and lots of love and attention! I tailor activities to each dog's personality and energy level.
