Dogs are my sunshine
I have always loved taking care of my rescued dogs. My first dog came to my family as a stray, when I was about 8 years old. My Mom told me “if he stays here through the night, you can keep him”. I sat up with him on the back porch and read to him all night! He stayed! Rescuing dogs brings me so much joy. My most recent rescue has been a challenge. Through that, I have also learned some training methods. I really enjoy that aspect and hope to learn even more dog training skills. I really enjoy walking dogs and even running with them. I find it healthy exercise for me and my dogs!

Safety, trust & environment
I walk both of my dogs on a leash. If need be, I am experienced in using a muzzle or gentle lead. I am most interested in walking your dog and drop in visits. I am happy to aid in training also.

Kelly is the ultimate pet lover and pet owner. She has been caring for pets for most of her life. When she is around her dogs her great love for animals shows and you can tell the animals love her right back. She and her family have two dogs they have adopted from shelters, one of them they rescued from being euthanized. Kelly is friendly as well as knowledgeable and very passionate when it comes to caring for animals. Your dog will get the very best care with Kelly!
I have known Kelly for 15 years and I can’t think of a better person that I would want to take care of my dog. She is a true animal lover! Kelly is kind, fun and athletic with a great work ethic and an awesome sense of humor. I have personally seen her treat my dog, her animals and others like babies. Rest assured, your dog will be taken care of with Kelly. He or she will be in for a treat (maybe an actual treat too!)
Kelly is such a patient, caring animal lover, and I can think of no one better to care for my dog. I have seen her play with and work with many different dogs, and she is always able to earn their trust. She is also interested in learning all she can. Many owners want their dog to be cared for as if they were the most important thing around! Kelly understands this and tries her best to do this. If your dog is in Kelly’s care, they are in excellent hands!
For as long as I’ve known Kelly (nearly 30 years!) her love for animals of all kinds was evident! She has rescued many dogs over the years and given them a loving home. Her most recent rescue is Mickey who required a lot of patience and care as he recovered from some injuries. Mickey is so happy in his furever home and knows how much he’s loved. I believe Kelly would be the perfect candidate to join Rover

Schedule
I am available all day on Mondays. Wednesday and Friday after 2:00. and Thursday mornings until 12:00. I am also available most weekends. Please don’t hesitate to ask about other times, as sometimes, I can make arrangements.
