Ian & Kelly’s doggy daycare!
Kelly grew up in a household who’s mom’s part time job was a dog sitter/ boarder so 10 years of living at home in my adulthood taught me a lot! I’ve taken care of most breeds of dogs and have lots of experience taking care of them, meeting their needs and training if needed. My uncle and grandfather are also both veterinarians so volunteering at their clinic growing up taught me a lot and is nice to have them as an emergency contact for any questions. Ian grew up in a household of dogs his whole life, having breeds including Tibetan terrier, labs and retrievers. In adolescence he started a dog walking part time job with his friends and loves being around animals. Kelly is a casual employee as a nurse so is able to schedule her shifts herself. Ian is an ecologist and is often able to coordinate working from home - so there will always be someone home when we are taking care of your doggo. We view animals as part of the family and that’s how we treat them. We now live in Cumberland and love taking care of your dogs whenever we can. We live on a 0.3acre greatly fenced property and love having extra friends around to take on adventures or play fetch and be cozy at home.

Kelly & Ian were fantastic during Huck’s stay. He had lots of adventures, playtime with Luca and cuddles. Communication was great and consistent, appreciated the pictures and updates. Huck had a fantastic time!
This is our first experience with Rover and we couldn't be happier. Kelly and Ian are lovely people and excellent pet sitters and their dog Luca is so easy-going and lovely too. We really appreciate meeting before the sitting dates. It was very reassuring to get to know Kelly and Luca and see how well they interacted before our trip. Communication was excellent leading up to Cassie's stay with them and throughout the time we were away. It was great to receive photos and videos. Clearly Kelly and Ian love animals and are excellent dog sitters! Cassie had a blast. Thanks to Kelly and Ian and Luca too!

Kelly and Ian were fantastic. They took care of our dog Emmi-lou on short notice and were very accommodating of all of her unique needs and high energy. Kelly updated us often with photos and videos, we felt very good about leaving Emmi with such kind people.

Schedule
Kelly is a registered nurse in a casual position and is able to create her own schedule around sitting dogs/ has lots of free time. Ian works from home so is always around to be with your dog/ take breaks to go on walks!

We would treat your home just as we would ours. We are both mature professionals currently living in a pet-friendly apartment in a safe neighbourhood.
Pets
A typical day
Ian and I are both young active people that love being outside. Kelly goes on a 1-3 hour walk every day and will cater that walking time to your dogs needs. For active dogs we sometimes go running or biking.
