When I was young and someone asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I always said a Veterinarian. My love for animals and need to protect them runs strong and deep. Strays always seems to find me! My family calls me the animal whisperer as there is rarely a pet who doesn't want to be loved by me. I believe that as humans we have alot to learn from dogs about life and love. I did work for Spokanimal for a short time. However, I cried everyday because I wanted to bring them all home with me and I couldn't save them all. So, that didn't last long. But, I am confident giving oral, ear and eye medications, shots and trimming nails etc. Currently, we have one dog and a cat who acts more like a dog! I have experience caring for puppies and seniors or anything in between. Our kitty cat is very tolerant of dogs...she is the boss around here. We are an active family and can provide plenty of safe play time. We live near Otis Orchards elementary, so we have access to their large fields for fetch. It is also a great area to take a walk/run which we do often! We have two kids, 15+ years old, who are both amazing with animals. We are a non-smoker home. *Note- I do have my limit set to 2 dogs. However, there are times when stays overlap or a regular client is need or there is an emergency...so at times I will have more then 2 Rover pups.

Kelly was awesome! She kept me updated throughout the week of boarding, my dog loved her dog and she treated him like he belonged in her family. He goes back in a week and a half and I feel so relieved to have found someone I can trust with him :)

Our dogs loved staying with Kelly and her family while we were out of town. She is very easy to work with, would definitely recommend her!
Kelly watched our dogs overnight and things went great. Loved the photo updates I got! Dogs looked comfortable while there and came home happy and healthy, will definitely use again.

Schedule
I work just down the road and am able to walk home to give additional potty/play breaks, if needed. We can discuss my schedule in more detail during our meet and greet.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a large, fully fenced backyard and two kiddos to give your pup all the love. Our dog usually goes where we go, if we are inside so is he and visa versa. I often wake up with my bed full of animals and I love it! We play ball daily and go on neighborhood walks frequently. Our dog is 12 years old and introduces well to all other animals we have come in contact with.
Pets
A typical day
I would play fetch or tug whatever your dog prefers. I love practicing new tricks to see what they can learn! We could hang out in the backyard with the doggie pool filled up. Go on a walk to check out the goats and horses near us. Or just cuddle on the couch and watch a movie.
