I am a proud mother of three amazing children, two accomplished and responsible adult children (29 year old son & 25 year old daughter) and a fun-loving, gentle spirited fourteen year old daughter. << >> Dogs have always been a part of our family and yours will be as well. Ultimately your dog(s) are loved and cared for like our own family members during their stay. I strive to provide a stress free experience for both you and your pets. I am aware that some dogs are active and playful while some like to nap and relax. I am always conscious of each dogs preference/ability and will exercise/play as much or as little, per request of owner. << >> From years of loving and caring for a large variety of family pets to taking care of extended family and friends pets, strays and fosters; from a very young age throughout all stages of life. Providing empathetic and long-term care for sick pets as well as the everyday ailments of aging pets. I have the confidence and extensive hands-on experience that is needed to provide compassionate and the ultimate quality of care for your dog(s). << >> I have firsthand experience giving daily medications, administering insulin injections (this includes our little guy ♥️ (In loving memory of our Moon Doggie 𝟿/𝟼/𝟸𝟸 🌈 ✨) who was diabetic and required daily insulin injections for 2+ years) facilitating seizures and a variety of other special needs as well as caring for limited mobility pets. << >> I know from experience the importance of routine that is needed/required for special needs and daily meds (for both animals and humans alike!). I am a nurturer and caregiver at heart. I am thankful for all of the opportunities available to continue to learn and facilitate my passion as a pet sitter. I keep my training/certification in Canine and Feline CPR/First Aid renewed and updated as needed. I always strive above and beyond to assure a peace of mind for all of my pet parents. << ** I require a complimentary Meet and Greet (prior to any booking confirmation) with ALL new potential families as well as for established families who have added new pets to the family’s household. **

>> Our home is located in a very unique rural area (within close proximity of town) hidden on a beautiful, nature filled, quiet country setting. We believe in good old fashioned fun and embracing the simple joys of our every day. << >> Our activities are always dependent on a variety of factors (i.e. the season, weather conditions, excess (or lack thereof) energy levels, geriatric needs etc — the list goes on) and will depend entirely on the individual dog. No two stays are ever the same as we always follow the lead of our furry friends! Always being mindful and striving for a perfect balance of enriching activities along with quality downtime. Each and every dog always have their own idea of what their favorite activities are. This is what I love most about my work as a pet sitter. I believe this is what makes our boarding experience so extra special and enjoyable for all of us! There is so much truth to “Happy Dog Happy Life!”<< • Our safe and secure fenced-in play yard (this encloses around our back door, your dog will not need a leash to go to outside) allows for off leash (*ALWAYS* Supervised) unlimited fun, as well as allowing for safe, quick late night and early morning potty breaks. It’s also a great place for all of us to hang out together in the fresh air and sunshine during the warmer months. • Updated April 2021: For my senior pups who come frequently, have limited mobility and like to have/require a more relaxed environment along with any other guests who may prefer not to mingle (less social pups, siblings etc); we have a separate fenced-in yard, (this also encloses around a door), opposite side of our home, your dog will not need a leash to go to outside. There are a set of stairs, as well as a ramp), in case of boarding overlaps, etc to ensure safety and accommodation of all dogs. I am very aware and hands on with each personality to ensure safety at all times. Bonus: It’s a great addition for drop-off and pick-up as well! Accommodating safe and secure entering and exiting with minimal disturbances to any other boarders we may have. Making for happy campers! • I require all dogs to have a properly fitting collar and/or harness (all dogs need to have an I.D. tag) and leash (preferably no Retractable Dog Leashes; for safety reasons). I keep ALL dogs on a leash at ALL times when outside with the exception of our time together in our fenced in play yard. >> If your dog does not receive regular (consistent) walks at home, is not (familiar with or moderately) leash trained we will not be going on any walks/hikes and all outdoor free play/exercise will be in our fenced in play yard and our spacious play area inside. << • All dogs on the premises must arrive and leave on a leash. No exceptions! >> You will need to provide *food* and *treats* for your dogs stay. Please be specific with meal plans (via Rover profile and/or including written instructions included with food etc). If your dog requires medications to be dosed daily, please provide medications in labeled bottles or bags, *dosage instructions* and any helpful dosing aids (peanut butter, cheese, pill pockets). It is very important to give me detailed instructions on your dog’s medication dosages and times. << **Please pack at least 2 EXTRA days worth of food (as well as medications if applicable)** to accommodate for any unexpected change in plans/delays. >> We occasionally make homemade dog treats to share although always ask first before sharing with our guests! << ** I am very strict about following each dogs individual dietary needs as instructed. ** All dogs are separated during feeding times and only have access to the food provided for their meals. • I have bowls, beds, crates (if requested). If you feel there are specific items which will make your dog(s) feel that much more comfortable, you are of course more than welcome to send them along for the duration of their stay. • We have a Home Security System for additional protection and peace of mind. >> Clear communication is very important and greatly appreciated. << >> Please be courteous to your time as well as mine, be on time for a Meet and Greet/Drop Off/Pick Up, or if you are running late, please give me a heads up. << >> Drop Off and Pick Up times are very Important to us as we do plan our days around these times. If for some reason you cannot be on time let me know as early as possible to reschedule. << • I offer Pick Up and Drop Off (for established and *repeat* families only) to and from your home (within a reasonable distance from our home, scheduled on a case-by-case basis only) **Please let me know if your pet is prone to car/motion sickness** >> You will find I am very willing to allow flexibility. I commit my time and schedule to make sure that my time is 100% dedicated to the care of your dog(s). I understand that we are human. Emergencies happen, plans change. If, for whatever reason, you must Change a booking, please notify me as soon as possible so I can plan accordingly. Animal care necessitates a great deal of planning, setup, cleaning, and scheduling. All I ask is that you are respectful of my time and I promise I aim to always be reasonable and nothing short of respectful of yours. Your understanding is greatly appreciated. << Every Drop-In visit (in your home) includes all the essentials and then some: ✔️ Potty breaks for dogs or litter box cleaning for cats ✔️ Feeding and fresh water refill at scheduled time ✔️ Playtime and exercise (tailored to your pet’s energy level) ✔️ Medication (oral) administration if needed (no extra charge) ✔️ Little home chores like bringing in mail, rotating lights, so your home stays lived in ✔️ And plenty of love, ear scritches, and snuggles for your furry friend! You will also get a detailed update with pictures after each visit, so you can see how much fun your pet is having with a total peace of mind for you! ♥️ Whether you have an energetic puppy, a laid back senior or a finicky kitty, I tailor my care to your fur babies personality and ensure your furry companions receive the care they deserve, with regular updates while you’re away. >> Meet and Greets are required prior to your first service. They’re the pawfect time for us to meet, answer any questions you may have, an opportunity for me to get to know your pets and learn about their routines.
