On a goal to pet all the animals
I have grown up in a household with dogs, mainly the medium to large sized breeds. I have experience with all sizes of dogs though, as I have taken care of a variety of sized dogs for friends, family, and neighbors. I have taken care of cats and dogs when needing medical care - especially giving meds and minor wound care - and also have groomed and walked many types and sizes of dogs. I love making sure the pets are healthy and happy. I have volunteered at an animal shelter to help with the care of animals - providing play time, meds, and grooming of both dogs and cats.

Safety, trust & environment
I am available to help with the pets at the clients home. I can either stay at your place or go home at night, which I can work with you based on your needs and comfort. I have experience with gated and non gated yards (so needing to leash the dog when taking out for the potty), gates for inside the house, and crate training. Often I will have my own leash with me so that if anything happens, I'm prepared. As for walks, I often work with the dog(s) to see what triggers them and avoid as much as possible. I know not all dogs are friendly with other dogs or people so I am aware of my surroundings and provide appropriate distance to avoid people and dogs as best as I can.

I had Kelly back to watch my dog for 4 days and she did a wonderful job! My dog really seems to like her!
Kelly did a great job with Buddy! He seemed to really like her and he is usually very scared of new people. She was good with updates and letting me know what was going on. I will definitely use her in the future!
Kelly did a great job taking care of our older cat! She was very communicative and sent lots of photos.
Kelly is amazing!!! I had a VERY short notice engagement and she was able to drop into my apartment to check up on my pup. She always gives a great update and trust my pupper is in good hands.

Schedule
I'm currently a full time student at SIUE and I'm in the MFA art studio program. For summer 2026 semester my schedule is Mon-Fri for a few hours in July. For fall I have classes Monday through Friday for a few hours at a time. Weekends I'm generally free. For drop ins and walks, I'll work with you to figure out the best time(s) based upon my schedule and distance from campus. During house sitting, I can provide food, medicine, play time, walks, and many other services. I also am willing to assist with house related things - bringing in mail, taking trash out for trash pickup, etc - just let me know and we can work it out. For walks and drop ins, in addition to the service, I can provide some house related services (like bring in mail and packages) upon request.

- Let me know any important info about your pet. This can be their routines, any medical concerns, any anxieties with anything (for example, storms, fireworks, people, other pets, etc), if they love getting a ton of attention or like their space, and so on. I want to make your pet(s) be as comfortable and relaxed with me while you are away. I also would like to know what kind of communication/updates/check ins you would like to have. I want to make sure you are comfortable with leaving your pets with me and alleviate any stresses or concerns you may have. I know pets are part of the family, so making sure they are safe and well taken care of is important. If nothing has been set up, I will provide daily updates to let you know how things are going by sending a message and/or pics of the animals.
