Kelly is a great dog sitter and very easy to work with!

We chose this sitter for our senior dog’s first time being left with someone outside our home, and while we’re grateful for the help, the experience didn’t fully meet our expectations. Communication was the main challenge for us. We had shared that our dog has separation anxiety and that regular updates would help us feel more at ease, but we didn’t receive updates, photos, or messages unless we reached out first. When we did check in, responses were brief and didn’t always give us a clear picture of how our dog was doing. We were also surprised to learn that the sitter’s sons were helping with our dog’s care, as this wasn’t something we had anticipated ahead of time. During the stay, we didn’t receive photos or updates showing walks, meals, or interaction, which would have helped provide reassurance. Overall, the experience felt a bit less structured and communicative than we had hoped, especially given that this was our first time leaving our senior dog. We’re looking for a sitter who can provide more consistent updates and transparency, so we likely won’t book again. That said, this may be a better fit for pet owners who are comfortable with a more hands off style of communication.
