Pet care is naturally built into our daily routine. Dogs are fed twice a day (breakfast and dinner), with lunch provided if requested. Fresh water is always available. Dogs have regular access to our fenced backyard throughout the day for exercise, fresh air, and bathroom breaks.

We provide a safe, calm, and structured home environment for all dogs. Our large fenced backyard allows for secure outdoor play and supervised time outside. I am currently home full-time, and my adult son also works from home, so dogs are rarely left alone and always have supervision and companionship throughout the day. To provide the best care, we ask for some basic information about your dog, including: • Breed, age, and gender • Spay/neuter status • Feeding and bathroom routine • Vaccination status • Any allergies or medical needs • Temperament or special care requirements We are always happy to arrange a meet-and-greet to ensure a comfortable and suitable fit for both your dog and our home.
A typical day
Dogs enjoy walks of 30 minutes or more when weather permits, along with frequent backyard time for play and exploration. We also engage in interactive play such as ball games in the backyard or indoors (basement) depending on the weather. Dogs are free to move comfortably within the home and may rest or sleep in the areas where they feel most relaxed, including both the main floor and second floor. Feeding schedules follow owner instructions, typically twice daily, with flexibility as needed.

- 🏡 Home-based dog care in a safe, fenced backyard environment where dogs can relax and feel at home. - 🐾Over 14 years of personal experience raising dogs and 8+ years providing professional dog care services in a structured home care environment. - 🐶 Experienced with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, including puppies, senior dogs, shy or anxious dogs, and dogs requiring medication support. - 💊 Comfortable supporting oral medications and basic medical routines when needed. - 🐕 Our home also has a friendly Golden Retriever who helps provide a calm and social environment for visiting dogs. - 🗓️ Flexible scheduling with structured care routines, including daycare, boarding, walks, and home visits. - 📍 Located in Markham (Major Mackenzie & McCowan). - 💬 We prioritize safety, comfort, and clear communication throughout each stay. Daycare is based on a standard 9-hour stay, and boarding is based on a 24-hour stay. Extended care is available when needed beyond standard hours ($5.50/hour for daycare and $7/hour for overnight boarding). We may accommodate intact (non-spayed / non-neutered) dogs (not in heat) depending on availability, with an additional care fee when applicable. Home visits and home pick-up/drop-off are available upon request (mileage fee $0.85/km applies). All dogs are accepted under a standard care agreement to ensure safety and clarity for both sides.
