A typical day
I love interacting with dogs, cats or whatever type of animal in ways that meet their individual needs. Does your high intensity need a long walk with plenty of mental stimulation? My tennis shoes are ready! Does your couch potato just want some snuggles and relaxation? No problem! Is your frisky kitty wanting to play with their favorite toy? I can’t wait to send you photos of their crazy antics! It’s all about you and your pet, their wants and needs, and how I can best meet them.

Pet care experience
I have never lived a day in my 40 years of life without a dog. Currently, I share my home with 5 rescue dogs from four countries...from 4lbs to 50lbs. I have worked at doggie day cares, with rescue organizations dealing with dogs during disasters, and fostered puppies as young as a day old for local shelters. While I work mostly with wildlife professionally, my love of dogs is a way of life for me - and I would love to share that with your pup today! I work mostly from home and I'm looking for extra income, and what could be more perfect than working with dogs! I have experience in obedience training, agility, reactive and aggressive dogs, small and large breeds, and giving medication.

Kelly was amazing!! She took the time to get to know Layla and work through some nervousness on her first day. When you are traveling and things at home are not under your control, knowing Kelly was going to make sure Layla was taken care of. I cannot say enough how much that put my mind to rest!!!!

Kelly is amazing. If I could give her 10 stars, I would. She is thoughtful and courteous and you can just tell that she loves animals and that they love her right back. I think our girls were a little disappointed to see us come through the door after our vacation instead of her!!! 😉 We look forward to working with her in the future!
