I have been working with cats and dogs for over 20 years. I started at a kennel called The Cat Chalet, then I worked as a Veterinary Technician for 15 years. As of October 2021, I am a full time pet sitter. I am very experienced and comfortable with the handling of scared, fearful or aggressive animals. I gain trust with patience, positive reinforcement, stress and fear free handling. I have years of experience giving medications by mouth, ears, eyes, and topical treatments. I am able to give insulin injections and subcutaneous fluids, or IM injections. Nothing makes me squeamish - blood, vomit, diarrhea, or needles! I have worked in both veterinary general practice and emergency medicine. My resume also includes a cat only boarding kennel, assisting two professional groomers, and kennel manager at an animal hospital. I am a certified crazy cat lady with two special needs cats of my own.

I am familiar with most veterinary medications and diets, what they are used for as well as any side effects. I am knowledgeable in canine and feline diseases and illnesses, and that these animals require specific special attention. I monitor eating and bathroom habits, while always staying in touch regarding any issues or concerns.

Kelly was OUTSTANDING. Our cats were so happy and comfortable when we got back after vacation. She took such good care of them and took the cutest photos every day while we were gone. She sat for our senior kitty and our sweet, albeit bitey, kitten, and both loved spending time with her. We would love to have her sit for future vacations if she is available <3

Kelly rocks! She is thoughtful and very easy to work with. Kelly took great care of our energetic young cat and made sure our kitty got the stimulation and play time she needs. Daily updates with photos let us know our cat was healthy and happy. We look forward to being able to hire Kelly again when we travel, so we can feel at ease and enjoy our trip!

I am available for cat care full time! I take last minute requests if needed. I do not charge holiday fees. Unfortunately at this time I am unavailable for weekly repeating services.
