My husband works remote M-F, so he is home all day during the week! I work in the school system so I am home by 3:30 M-F. We both have weekends off! So we never have to leave your pet alone for any long periods of time since someone is always home and excited to have pets around!

We have 3 acres that are surrounded by trees. It is not fenced in, but we do have very long leads if you would like your dog on one. Our golden retriever wears the Halo collar and never goes near the edge of the property. Your animals would have a friendly buddy to keep them company! We can crate your dog if you would like, or they are welcome to be with us at all times/on furniture and the bed if you are ok with that too! We are always wanting to follow your recommended schedule so we can keep your pet on their norms! We live on a small private drive, so frequent walks are easy and enjoyable! Plus, being across from the Lakelands trail we can go on longer walks/jogs if your pet needs to let more energy out!

A typical day
We play fetch in the mornings and afternoons to get them running multiple times a day! They get outside/bathroom time anytime they need! If the pup prefers to lounge and snuggle we do that or we can keep them active and playful as well!

Pet care experience
We have always been huge pet people! Cats, dogs, bunnies, hamsters, birds, hedgehogs, fish, etc. We love having pets around. We currently have a super loving and sweet golden retriever who is 4 years old, he gets along with all animals. We had a pit mix that had a very intensive health history, she passed last year. We wanted to join Rover to help our community feel safe, comfortable and excited to leave their animals to go on vacation. Plus, it will give our golden a friend in the meantime, since we are missing our pit mix! Due to our history with her intensive health history, we are both very comfortable giving meds/etc that need to be done to help keep your pet feeling comfortable and healthy! Senior dogs to puppies, old cats to kittens…we love them all!

Kelly and Brandon were kind and communicative in helping us to set up our first dog sitting experience for our puppies. They kept us updated w photos all weekend and the pups seemed to have a great time!

Our fur babies had the best care at Kelly and Brandon's home! They are the kindest, caring, most loving family.
