I believe in crating animals when safety dictates, and monitored interactions if circumstances allow. I leash-walk my dog in the adjacent park and have a lovely yard to sniff. Kitties usually advise me what the rules are.

I am familiar with virtually any minor behavior issue with dogs as I am a professional dog trainer and can easily handle large and small dogs. Having worked in a vet clinic I have been exposed to many common illnesses and their treatments. As a pastime I enjoy fostering orphaned newborn kittens and am quite familiar with their needs.
A typical day
My resident dog has taught me the importance of sleeping in if at all possible, but I also know that young, active breeds and special needs dogs have different ideas about the perfect day. Leash-walks and indoor/outdoor play sessions are often needed to keep dogs happy and comfortable. Cats sometimes need their quiet time and need a safe space to call their own.
