About Luna

Luna is smart enough to be a huge idiot, constantly putting herself in mortal danger. When Luna was 2, she jumped off a second-story balcony just to see if she could fly like Underdog. She could not. (No injuries sustained.) She also loves getting into garbage cans and she remembers where stuff is to rummage through as soon as you leave the room. She sometimes eats plants and likes to sniff around the fireplace and get soot all over her for no apparent reason. If she is outside on her own, she will absolutely find something horrible to roll in. She hates baths but tolerates them well enough. She is very sweet and loves attention, licking, and playing tug-of-war. She is wonderfully playful and very photogenic. She does not like to be picked up under her arm pits, and if she is laying down she will growl and snap if you try to move her. Otherwise, she has a very easygoing temperament. She knows lots of tricks and she can learn new things very quickly. She has a sensitive stomach so she should only eat dog food. I keep food and water down for both of my dogs always so they eat when they're hungry. I have not had any issues with either of them overeating. She loves going on walks, but she should not go on runs due to her arthritis. Luna also has several nicknames, (feel free to give her your own!), including "Luna-Bear", "Luna-Balloona", and especially "Hey-Get-That-Out-Of-Your-Mouth-Or-So-Help-Me".

About Tanner

Tanner is the sweetest, goodest boy. He is too good of a dog to know how to be a bad dog and I rarely have any issues with him. However, he can be heavily influenced by Luna's bad habits. Although he sometimes pretends not to care, he loves Luna and he cannot be left alone without her. If he is, he will howl and definitely take a giant dump on the floor somewhere. He has wonderfully expressive puppy eyes and please be aware that you will get lost in them. As a note, he can be a jealous dog. If another dog is getting more attention than him, he will insert himself into that situation and use his big block head to demand equal or greater pets. Sometimes, when he's playing, he'll jump up on his hind legs and move his too-short front paws vertically up and down in front of him like a T-Rex. It's my favorite thing. He uses his head like a battering ram and swings it around wildly sometimes, usually unprovoked. He doesn't understand how tug-of-war is supposed to happen but he does understand that he's supposed to know how to play, so, he tries. I keep food and water down for both of my dogs all the time and they just eat when they're hungry. Tanner's method is to get a mouthful of food from the bowl, move to a different spot, spit the food out, and then eat it, individually, piece by piece. I call him "my bud" a lot and I think he really appreciates that. He will definitely follow you into the bathroom.
