We offer home boarding in a relaxed, family environment where dogs are truly part of the household. We both work at the fire station, which is located on the same grounds as our home, meaning we’re nearby and able to check in regularly throughout the day — even on working days. Safety, trust & environment

Your dog’s safety, comfort and happiness are our top priorities. Our home has ample space, including additional separate areas if a dog needs extra room, quiet time or a slower introduction. We have a 7-year-old dog, Rolo, who is playful, friendly and happy to have company with the right introduction. All introductions are done calmly and carefully, and dogs are never left unattended together. If needed, dogs can be comfortably separated in their own space. We follow routines closely, are careful with feeding, walks, doors and supervision, and we always provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your dog is safe, settled and well cared for.

Information Kellie R. would like to know about your pet

I’ve like to get to know your dog properly before their stay, so it’s really helpful to know about routines, feeding, walking preferences, medical needs, medications, anxieties, and how they are with other dogs. Please also let us know if your dog prefers their own space, needs a slower introduction, or has any triggers. The more we know, the happier and more comfortable your dog’s stay will be.

A typical day

A typical day is calm, structured and centred around each dog’s needs. Mornings usually start with breakfast, toilet breaks and cuddles, followed by a walk either before or after the school run, depending on what suits your dog best. Throughout the day there’s plenty of company, play, enrichment and downtime, with regular check-ins even on working days. Walks are always accommodated as best as possible and tailored to energy levels, and daily walks and cuddles are non-negotiable. Evenings are relaxed with another walk if appropriate, dinner, and plenty of fuss before bedtime.

Pet care experience

We have both been around dogs for as long as I can remember and have cared for all kinds of personalities — from bouncy, energetic walkers to calm, cuddly sofa companions. Friends, family and neighbours have trusted me to walk, feed and look after their dogs, and I genuinely love spending time with them. We have my own rescue pup who is around 7 years old and happy to have company. We are reliable, patient and always make sure dogs feel safe, happy and relaxed while their owners are away. Whether your dog needs long sniffy walks, playtime, routine and structure, or just plenty of fuss and reassurance, they’ll be treated like one of our own.

Kellie and Andy were great and our black lab Alfie absolutely loved his time with them. They were very quick to reply and also asked questions to understand what Alfie needs in order to take best care of him. We got daily updates which were lovely - Alfie seemed so happy. It went so well that we’ve rebooked for our little boy to stay with them again. Would definitely recommend them, they are lovely 🐾 ♥️

Kellie is reliable, friendly, and completely trustworthy, and she genuinely loves animals. She’s responsible, attentive, and puts real care into everything she does. Anyone looking for someone dependable to look after their pets would feel very confident leaving them with Kellie.

Kellie is a brilliant pet carer. My pup enjoys long walks with her which being a big energetic young boy he needs. When we arrive he is always excited and greeted enthusiastically by Kellie. He always returns happy & contented, well fed and clean. Always happy for Kellie to look after my best friend.
