I work from home and am new to the area looking to build my clientele of pups! I have a very friendly Yorkie that loves to join for walks. My daily schedule allows for morning activities such as the gym and pup exercise, the afternoon and evening vary day to day. Feel free to look at my calendar for availability.

I prefer to check in on pups in their home environment rather than house them in my home it takes away a lot of the stress associated with you being gone. I like to maintain a routine that you have already established regarding feeding and exercise. Unless asked I will not take your dog out of the home for a walk. While on a walk I am vigilant and keeping on a lease and safety in the street are huge for me.

The most important components of pet care are to me are safety, routines, and compatability. I am very inquisitive when we do our first meet and greet I like to know what their tendencies are, how they are with other humans and/or pets, their favorite toys snacks etc, and I really gauge whether we are a good match. The routines are essential to good behavior retention while you are away and lack of deviation. I ask about their normal routine and am honest as to whether I can meet those needs or not. Compatability believe it or not is essential. I have met a handful of dogs that we were not a match for numerous reasons but ethically for both parties we chose to go with a different sitter. Not every person likes everyone and our pets are the same and I like to respect that.
A typical day
A typical day with a pup varies on the services that you are interested in. For example if I am doing three drop ins per day with a walk as well I will arrive and give attention pets, play with toys, or meet basic needs first food and water. We would then prepare for the walk with harness/collar check for functionality and attach to the leash, poop bags in tow and head out! Depending on the pup we may have others joining on the walk or just solo. Return back check on water levels and remove leash and walking accessories (if harness and collar aren't worn all the time) and give love before leaving. There is a wonderful agility course at the Pa Honua Dog Park as well as ample running space at either dog park(near North Beach as well).

I have cared for animals my whole life. When family members and friends have been away or needed assistance I have made myself available to care for their pets as my own. By providing love and care to animals when owners are away is very important to the animals well being which is my main concern. I am experienced in dealing with rescue animals who may have not been as socialized. Each animal small or large will be cared for with the up most care and love because I am an animal lover at heart. I love walks and cuddles. Looking forward to making a trip more relaxing for the pets and owners I get the pleasure to sit with! Just ask me for availability!
