I am only unavailable early mornings Monday-Thursday (often only Monday and Wednesday) and I am happy to do visits any other time. ***I work as a surgical assistant so my schedule does open up when we have cancelations, msg me for my most current availability.***

I prefer to care for your pets in their own home. I have found this to be the most familiar and least-stressful environment for your pets, especially for those with separation anxiety. Many fur babes refuse to eat/drink while their owner is away (mine included). From my experience, having access to EVERYTHING they are accustomed to at home and being surrounded by the smells of their own family is abundantly reassuring to them. ***I have long-term clients which frequently bring me to locations near North Paulding High School (weekends) and Cartersville High School (weekdays) If your needs fall on dates where I am already in the area, special discounted rates will apply! Please msg me for more info*** *My drop-in rates are for a 15 minute potty break/play visit (More often than not, I do stay longer, but 15 minutes is the absolute minimum amount of time your pets will have company). Every visit ALWAYS includes a clean water refresh, feeding and administering required medications, when necessary. **My current overnight rates cover an 8 hour timeframe where I DO NOT LEAVE your pet or home. These hours (and rates) are customizable and I will long term board animals at my home or yours on a case to case basis. Please contact me to customize a care plan to fit the specific needs of your fur family.

Behavioral, dietary and medical concerns are the most important information for me to know. If your pups have favorite/least favorite places for pats and scratches, that is also helpful to ensure we can become the best of friends. All animals deserve love, patience and customized care. I pride myself on providing these essentials for your fur family. p.s. I often have small, rawhide-free treats on hand, if your dog is on a diet or you prefer they do not receive any snacks, please let me know and I will supplement the lack of treats with extra pats.
A typical day
I love to take the pups to pitner dog park and allatoona creek park for hiking and swimming in the creek. For any of my friends with behavioral issues or anxiety, I avoid populated areas, apply ecollar and soft muzzle techniques for socialization (I will NEVER use ANY of my own equipment on your pets without your prior consent). Safety for your pet and others we encounter is PARAMOUNT.

I have loved dogs of all sizes and breeds, with varying medical/behavioral issues and I've found that each and every dog has uniquely different needs, just like their humans! I have decades of experience with large, aggressive dogs, toy breeds with attitude, seniors and puppies too. I've adopted or fostered countless breeds and thoroughly enjoy spending time getting to know new pet pals every chance I get. I currently have 2 rescues I adopted from doggie death row, Justin, a 15 year old Dane/Pointer mix, and Charlie, an Carolina dog. I hope to have the opportunity to meet your pups and make their days a little more enjoyable while you're away, rest assured your pets will be cared for as my own.

Kellie really did a great job making us not worry about our older girl, Molly, while we were away. Our yorkie tends to get anxious when we don’t come home which makes her pancreatitis flare up but not with Kellie watching her! She looked so happy playing ball with Kellie in the numerous photos we received (great photos too!). We can tell our pup was in good hands and will definitely be calling on Kellie again.
Kellie did a great job with our little baby. He loved every minutes and she sent me lots of pictures on our guy. Would highly recommend her.
Kellie did an excellent job in communicating with us and keeping us updated, which gave us peace of mind while we were away! We felt very comfortable leaving our fur babies with her and definitely plan to use her services again in the future.
Kellie is AMAZING! My dog can be shy but after being around Kellie for about 10 minutes he wouldn’t leave her side! I felt much more relaxed after seeing how they bonded before I left! I will never use anyone else to care for my fur baby! Thanks again Kellie!
