Hi! We're the Jewison family and we love all animals <3 I grew up on a farm and have raised most species at one point in my life- from birds, to goats, to horses. I have worked at a boarding kennel, a farm, a dog training facility, as well as the humane society and have encountered all kinds of life's issues with creatures of all shapes and sizes. I think loving animals is something you're born with. From the time I was tiny I was feeding calves and kittens, collecting caterpillars and saving baby mice. My kids seem to have been born with the animal loving gene too. Why do we want to watch your best friend? We started dog sitting after we lost our once in a lifetime pal and weren’t ready to bring a new dog into our lives full time. Since then, we added Sprinkles to our home, moved up to the Northwoods and took a break from dog sitting. The kids missed it and our dogs have missed having extra playmates too. Let's be honest, playing chase is way more fun than just fetching a ball. Why pick us? We can accommodate any medications and special diets. Our pets are allowed free range of the house and are allowed on the couch and the bed. We can kennel your dog if that's what they're most comfortable with. We've seen every anxiety behavior there is and know all the tricks for making your dogs feel at home. We have a HUGE 5 acre yard with open spaces and trails- and 2 kids who are dog obsessed- to wear your pups out. We don’t currently have a physical fence for our yard, our dogs are protected by Halo gps perimeter collars. Please let me know if you feel like your dog is best suited on a leash. I do have a fenced in horse pasture that I can use for a play area (without horses in it) if needed. Our schedule varies from week to week but I am always home on Monday and weekends and my husband is always home at lunch time and typically has several days a week that he’s home mornings. We know what it's like to leave a part of your family at home when you go on vacation and we want to give you one less thing to worry about while you're away.
