Safety, trust & environment

I prioritize safety and communication about expectations and needs to ensure that you and your pet are comfortable with the care being provided. Safety is my number one priority.

Information Kelli S. would like to know about your pet

Before caring for a pet, I like to know about any medical needs, medications, dietary restrictions, or behavioral quirks. It's also helpful to know their favorite toys, treats, activities, and daily routine so I can provide care that keeps them comfortable, happy, and enriched. Understanding each pet's unique personality helps me build trust and make sure they feel safe and loved while their family is away.

A typical day

A typical day would focus on making sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and engaged. I enjoy spending time providing enrichment through play, walks, toys, puzzles, and positive interaction tailored to each animal's personality and needs. My goal is to "fill their cup" by giving them attention, mental stimulation, exercise, and affection so they feel happy, confident, and cared for while their family is away.

Pet care experience

Hi! I'm Kelli, an experienced animal care professional with years of hands on experience working with dogs of all ages, breeds, and personalities. My background includes being a veterinary assistant, dog trainer, pet resort manager, and caring for animals in daycare and boarding settings. I hold a bachelor's degree in Anthrozoology and use science-based, positive reinforcement techniques when working with dogs. I'm also certified in Canine First Aid & CPR and Fear Free Doggy Daycare & Boarding, so your pet's safety and emotional well-being are always my top priorities. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or simply relaxing with someone they trust, I'll tailor their care to their individual needs and routine. My services include dog walking, drop in visits, and over night house sitting in your home. I have experience administering medications, working with puppies and senior dogs, and caring for pets with different temperaments. I know how important it is to leave your pet with someone you can trust, and I treat every animal like they're my own. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member!
