Pet care experience
FULL SERVICE CARE 🐾
Some sitters may charge a little less, but that usually means they do not stay very long. I offer full 30 minute visits and provide full service care for your fur baby and your home. I am also happy to offer shorter “potty break” visits for a reduced price, so feel free to ask! I am a full-time, professional pet care provider and a passionate animal activist & rescuer. In addition to providing my best possible care for your fur baby, I offer full services for your home, including bringing in mail & packages, watering plants, opening and closing blinds, rotating lights... whatever you need! Dog visits are up to 30 minutes; I can offer a 20 minute visit for a reduced rate if your dog doesn't need as much care. (Please note that during extreme weather (heat above 92 or cold below 40), dogs WILL NOT be walked more than a few minutes at a time.) Cat visits are 20 minutes. For several years, I've volunteered for various rescues, including Paws in the City, Duck Team 6, DFW Rescue Me and Dallas Pets Alive, allowing me years of experience with all breeds and sizes. I regularly transport rescue dogs to and from adoption events and vet appointments, sometimes who are sick or injured. I also walk and socialize rescue dogs in boarding, and am a "handler" at adoption events, so I regularly care for dogs who don't know me. My preferred assignment is socializing shelter/rescue dogs in boarding facilities, as I have great patience with frightened/shy/stressed dogs. I foster dogs and puppies of all breeds and adopted one of my fosters, Gigi. I have rescued street dogs including pit bulls for the past 30 years. I became a pet sitter because so many rescue dogs I have placed are unable to go to boarding facilities (they might be sick, old, injured, frightened, stressed, or "look like" pit bulls).

Schedule
I'm available full-time as my other employment as a fitness instructor is now part-time, which was impacted due to Covid protocols at gyms. My schedule is flexible and I am sometimes even available last minute.

Safety, trust & environment
When I am in your home, I treat it with the utmost respect. As a professional sitter, I always assume there are webcams and would never want any of my actions to appear anything other than completely appropriate and relevant. I'm mature, responsible and have a reliable car.
Pets
A typical day
I watch carefully to ensure my guest dogs are safe, confident and comfortable. When I take your dog outside to your yard, they are under my constant supervision. I do not use dog parks, even if requested to do so, because I have no control over other dogs in that situation. I avoid ALL dogs and people on walks and do not allow ANYONE to approach. I always take extra care opening doors, checking fences, and watching for potential hazards.
