In short, animals and I speak the same language. I've been caring for dogs for well over 20 years, recently including un-crate-trained puppies, super seniors, dogs going through physical therapy, dogs who take medication, and dogs with both high and low physical activity needs. I started caring for cats additionally at age 20 and am especially patient with winning over shy, timid kitties. I only board one pet family at a time and have no pets of my own, meaning your buddy or buddies will receive 100% of my attention, without the added stress of other animals present! For as long as I can remember, animals have gravitated towards me--I'm often the first person an unfamiliar dog will run to in a room full of people! If you're not convinced, let's set up a meet-and-greet to see if I would be the right person for your special buddy. They deserve someone who loves them as much as you do!

Kelli was amazing with our golden retriever Franklin. She is kind, caring and considerate and even helped with Franklins medication. She texted us pictures throughout the day and it was clear Franklin was cared for & enjoying his day. Thanks Kelli !
Kelli took great care of our baby, Lily. We could see how Lily took to her right away with the pictures we received everyday. Knowing she was in good hands allowed us to really enjoy our vacation, thanks Kelli!
We appreciated the way Kelli took good care of Maisie. We received daily photos and we loved seeing she was being played with and happy. She even repaired toys we provided that Maisie tore during play, which is not unusual for Maisie. We will be using Kelli in the future and highly recommend her.
I have a very nervous little dachshund; Kelli went above and beyond to make him feel safe and secure. Communications were great, too! Will definitely book again with Kelli.
Lucca our 11-year old cavalier has never had a pet sitter that wasn’t immediate family. Kelli offered to meet before our vacation and we were comfortable from then on. She asked extensive questions about his care & handled his somewhat complicated medication and food schedule like a pro. So happy to have found Kelli. She is very trustworthy and gave excellent updates every day. Lucca was so loved while we were gone & his transition back home after 5 days was seamless. I will be contacting her soon to help again. :)
I highly recommend Kelly! She was sweet, accommodating, and always quick to respond. We could tell our dog had an amazing time and was well cared for. We will definitely book with her again!

Schedule
I am self-employed and work from home, so I am completely able to work with your pet's schedule! Frequent potty breaks, longs walks, random snuggles, and time-sensitive medications are no issue. I'd be honored to spend as much time with your pet as you need and can make them the center of my day, like they deserve!

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet's health, safety, and happiness are my #1 priority. As stated above, I only take one pet family at a time and have no pets of my own, meaning your baby or babies won't have to deal with the stress of other animals in the home during their visit. I am able to give them access to most areas of my home with constant close supervision and can crate them as needed. My safe, friendly neighborhood is perfect for walks, as is my secluded backyard. I also have a caged-in lanai where your pet can sniff and explore safely with me present--dogs and cats both love it! I'm happy to work with them on tricks/training as well.
A typical day
I would shape our day around your pal's individual needs and preferences. We could go for fun neighborhood walks to take in the sunshine and pick up lots of new smells (a "sniffari" if you will), or get our sun and scents in by lounging on the lanai together. Cozy time is a must, whether your buddy wants to snuggle with me or prefers their space--I'll sit nearby as they relax in their comfy bed or on the couch. The day would be full of treats, quality time, and happy memories for us both!

- Please let me know your pet's feeding schedule and what quantity of food to give, along with any medications or quirks I should accommodate (your dog would not be the first to need his food sprinkled with parmesan cheese in order to eat!) I like to know if they have a tendency to steal/swallow/chew non-doggy things so I can be extra vigilant with their safety. Let me know if they have an issue with other people or animals so I can be extremely careful about keeping them isolated on walks if necessary, as well any allergies, fears, and their typical bedtime routine (crate vs no crate, etc.) I would also love to know their favorite spots to be scratched, how they like to play, and anything else you think would make them feel more at home! :)
